Thank you for help with mapping what we know. It helps for me to visualize the area, which is important for my understanding, and I assume it helps others too.

You’re very welcome Thanks for letting me help. It’s actually helped me visualize things much better.

I would. I've checked various locations and see that some areas are now marked as "checked" by infrared drone, helicopter or plane. There seems to be enough information about this abduction that there can be an arrest, even if it might take longer to find a body in that desolate, barren Nevada wasteland looking area.

So this is the general area where search teams were seen on Thursday and Friday (based on what locals were reporting as to seeing from their houses). There were also helicopters and I believe drones used too. The area is just one exit West of the Walmart and is on the way towards Reno/Sparks (if you were coming from Fernley on I-80). 1395EEDE-0834-47A1-A185-6BAD77C20D0B.jpeg

Here's the area in the video in daylight for reference. Google Maps

Where was he standing for all that time in the beginning, at the corner of the building? In the Google maps link, there is a blue truck backed in next to the orange awning.
It's a four-door, chrome handles? Just a coincidence right? Image date is April 2021. Google Maps

Picture of truck for front end reference https://www.carmax.com/cars/preview...yr1Gq260fLST0GG2HShoCs5UQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

So interesting that the suspect is waiting right by where a similar truck is found parked, on the google earth image that Knox located. Familiar territory for someone? Interesting find @Knox!

Points to ponder. The trucks are parked there because they are most likely waiting to make their delivery of pickup at SW. Most businesses of that size are by appointment only. Back in the day I used to drive team with hubby and we would deliver weekly to Sparks Nevada. Especially now with new regulations, drivers are up against a ticking time clock and are monitored by the ELD. So most of the time they have to park closest to pickup or delivery to save time on their time clock. The only other reason for them to park there would be they are local and know they can park their truck their and not be bothered or they have delivered around their before and know the space exist . I do not think a truck driver is involved.

The Second point and more to do with Naomi, we are assuming that the still of the truck is from the day of abduction or day of the car drop off. Unless LE has stated otherwise and I missed it, which is probable, could this still be the clearest shot they have but from a different time frame? For example, while he was laying out his plan for the abduction. I would assume, and have no first hand knowledge :) that you simply can not drive by a place one time and have it all figured out. The only reason this crossed my mind is because it seems the searches have been to the west of the Walmart. So the opposite direction of the way this truck was traveling.

Sorry if I am not making sense but I suffer from terrible insomnia and function(kinda) on very little sleep.

I think maybe they mean "lurking in-between" cars.

I believe she was waiting for a shuttle to take her to work.
Waiting for a shuttle to take her to a nearby workplace, Panasonic? Why not drive there?

Older car, not very dependable? Less gas? To hard to get in and out of the parking lot at Panasonic? Shorter walk into building?

Is there even a sprinkle of doubt that leads you to think of the possibility of Naomi going voluntarily missing?

Interview with brother. Go fund me link in article as well:

'It ruined me': Brother of missing Fernley woman recounts watching 'sinister' abduction

Casey says he watched the man take Naomi on Walmart security footage. He said it was extremely evident right off the bat that this was something sinister, further saying the following of the footage:

It ruined me. I mean, I couldn't believe what I was looking at. You know, I didn't want to believe it.
He continued to piece together the sequence of events leading up to, and showing within, the security video:

  • Around 5 a.m. Saturday morning, Naomi bought a energy drink at a gas station near their house. It was the last time she used her bank account.
  • Then, Naomi was waiting in the Walmart parking lot for a bus to take her to Panasonic outside Reno- Sparks.
  • She "always parked in the same spot and she always got there early so she could you know do social media stuff before she went to work and catch up with her friends that are in different time zones."
  • Then a man walked up, either said or did something to get her to move from her driver's seat over to her passenger seat, "and the guy then got into got into her car and drove it away with her in it."
Lyon County deputies found her car just up the road on Tuesday, with evidence of a crime. Police now think that man is driving a dark 2020 or newer Chevy pick-up truck.
I so wish she would have fought him, climbed out the passenger door screaming, I’m concerned about what the evidence is found in the car that leads LE to believe this was sinister. Sounds like someone had been watching her for some time, IMO, maybe days, since the brother said she parks in the same spot at the same time. My mind went from voluntarily/willingly leaving with the POI to she’s been abducted, after listening to her brother explain his shock at what he saw in the cctv footage. Praying so hard for this girl.

"Masked man" - I wonder if he was wearing a Covid mask or a full face mask that you would think of a bank robber wearing. Just curious how much he would stick out - I am leaning towards Covid mask because it wouldn't seem peculiar to run across someone wearing one, unlike the other kind. Yet it would still help conceal identity somewhat.

Yes, circling the lot does seem like he was checking to see if there were witnesses. Perhaps other cars were parked there and he wanted to see if any had occupants or if they were empty. That's one thing I was curious about - how many other cars were in the lot and in the area where she would have parked at that time.
It’s like he knew exactly when she was going to start getting out of her car. iMO. As if he knew her schedule down to the second.

Probably not enough employee parking available onsite so Panasonic uses offsite overflow lots with shuttle drivers.

I’m open to anything and haven’t ruled it out.

  • #258
Which begs the question, why didn’t she?
I think most people would freeze and do what they’re told. Me…I’d rather take my chances and not move.

LE may have a person in mind and they are keeping it quiet so not to spook him. That may be the “phone pings” they were talking about.
I was just thinking this as well. If LE isn’t clarifying whose phone pinged, they may already know who the POI is? And like you said, are keeping it quiet so as not to spook him.

the brother said the truck is a latest model truck, i'd say they are tracking that truck with GPS ( can't remember what the service for cars is called in the states )
