9 long years now since Mr. Carnes and his faithful dog and traveling companion, Lucky, disappeared from the lonely highway that night. So sad that nothing seems to have been found of either one in all this time. Mr. Carnes and Lucky, there are members on here that will never forget you both, and pray that both your disappearances will be solved. You both deserve nothing less.

Wanted to post to say I've been thinking of Patrick and Lucky recently. My husband is a trucker, used to be otr so I'm reminded of Patrick everytime I go with him. I hope he is found soon

Patrick Carnes, 86, of Reno, may have become a victim in 2011. He disappeared while driving in tandem with a long-haul trucker along the so-called ‘The Big Lonely,’ Interstate 80.

“I’ve seen some gruesome things in 25 years as an FBI agent,” Figliuzzi said. “Really gory crime scenes.”
