Recovered/Located NV - Ronnie (found deceased) & Beverly Barker (taken for med care), RV trip, Stagecoach, 27 Mar 2022

If they were driving when the rv got stuck and if the road is very narrow, it is most likely the Kia headed off in the opposite direction than the rv was headed because they couldn’t get around it. It might be a starting direction to search, anyway.

Is there any way to get to where the RV was (possibly? unconfirmed) located, OTHER than driving through the town of Silver Peak?

Didn't we see someone there quoted as saying the RV never came through there, as it would have been noticed?

Hmm...
Looks like only one way in and out up to Red Mountain, unless their are even rougher roads not shown on the map. It was me who spoke of a local who said they had not been in the bar and no way their vehicle was parked in the lot without being seen. Still possible for someone to drive through without being seen, especially at night. Jmo

Believing the Kia was toad from behind. Therefore could just unhook and go back down they way they came up. Make sense?

just wish this search was happening a week earlier. Chances of survival would have been much better. MOO

Thanks, yes I guess if the RV didn't stop or make too much noise, especially if after dark, it's possible it wasn't noticed.

That’s what I was thinking. May have had to back up a ways before they could turn. Unfo, that also lends itself to the possibility of sliding off the road while trying to turn around in the dark.

Oh no. So so sad. Seems they were lost.
If only the silver alert and air search could have started a week ago. So sad.

Wow. What an ordeal.

There were many missteps along the way, I hope the rescuers aren't being blamed.

I’m heartbroken. So many people were helping in the search. All of us on WS. Many many on the Facebook page. Strangers a lot of them. Locals who physically looked. SAR, LE. Civil Air. Their family worked unbelievably hard to even get searches going. Seems like they actually did get sidetracked, tried to get out, but were out there too long.
RIP Ronnie Parker. Pulling for Bev to make a full recovery. How scared she must have been.

OMG. This makes me angry.

My prayers are going up for Beverly's speedy recovery. My condolences to her and all who love Ronnie. Rest in peace, Mr. Barker. :(

It was stated by family that Bev doesn’t drive. So sfter Ronnie passed away, she was helpless. :(

I saw the group had been "paused" (read-only) for 26 hours; I guess that explain why.

RIP Ronnie and prayers for Beverly.

I hope Mrs. Barker wasn't living in the RV with her poor husband having passed away for too long. Just a horrifying thought.

She must have been grief stricken beyond measure, as well as being petrified being stranded in mountainous, rural Nevada and not being able to drive.

I can't bear thinking about what she went through.
