Crews are scouring a Lake Tahoe beach for Sean Ascuaga, 17, of Reno. He is the son of John Ascuaga Jr., and the grandson of John Ascuaga, the patriarch of the well-known family that owned the Nugget casino in Sparks for 58 years.

He was last seen at Chimney Beach on Monday afternoon, when he became separated from a group of friends.

Search crews are expanding further south along Highway 28.

Ascuaga was last seen wearing black shorts with no shirt. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build, black hair and brown eyes. He does not have his prescription glasses.

After scouring the shores of Lake Tahoe overnight, Sean Ascuaga, 17, was located safe and unharmed at Marlette Dam, according to Sheriff Ken Furlong of the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
