We know that he signed out a Pete Maravich book, one on Utah history and a DVD Lord of the Rings. Now I wish we knew the dates that he signed out each book/DVD.

Did he sign out one or all of then in December?
It seems like little things are important. The answer to this case will be in the details....(my opinion only).

I would most love to know the dates and times of any library computer use
in December.

We have assumed that he used the library computer, but I don't know that
this was verified.

How about use of the Ward Computer - if there is one.

Or how about use of a friend's computer.

Or the computer at work.

I think there is a trail that we have not investigated....and probably will not
know until someone decides to speak up.

It's been verified by the family, that he used the Washington County computer system at the St George library. (See the Q&As that we've documented).

...or the specific findings from the subpoenas served by LE, are released.

There is a post on Help Us Find Steven - from someone he worked with at the Trib. Nice memories.

I'd ask Naegle, but I've not heard from her since I sent the last questions. I sense that her request for "memories" to be posted on the Facebook page was a signal that she needs a rest from all the searching, investigations, questions, questions, questions.

I wish there was some way we could get LE to release more info, and let us all chew on it. Cell phone hits, times, dates, locations for the last week (even IF not the last 18-24 hours). The addresses of the Tesoro and Maverik stations in SLC where he bought gas. Stuff like that. The days he worked. When he started working for TH. Did he live anywhere else in St George before he moved into that house on Maplewood (or did he move in immediately)?

Oh, no! It's gone. But the spammer's post is still there. :furious:

I watched the video of Steve Walking and driving. When he drove, he slowed down right and then sped forward. I timed his walking and to me it appeared he was looking down at something and he definately stopped in the tree area....He may have another phone. Also, he turns in almost the same spot he slowed down at.

One of our members (fasteddy4) lives in the area, and drove over there. He did some serious look-arounds, saw why the car slowed, measured the distance -- and then stepped off how far Steven would have walked.

He slowed down, because there's a drainage dip in the road right there. If you look at the satellite map of where the car was left, you can see a white strip across the street. That's the dip.

Also, remember that the video was shot through a fisheye lens. If you look at the edges of the video, you can see how things look curved. Fisheye lenses makes things that are close, appear to move quickly -- and things that are further away, appear to move slowly.

Although it seems to take a long time for Steven to emerge from behind the tree, timing the steps showed that he kept walking.

The car looks like it positively *speeds* down the road, the closer it gets -- but if it kept speeding up like that, it would have gone through the fence at the end of the cul de sac - which is right at the end of the property the video was shot from.

From Fairy1 photo's you can see there is a dip/bump, that is why I think he slowed down.

I am not shooting down anyone's theories, but IIRC the family has ID'd the person in the video as Steven.

well, unfortunately it's not a theory. It's a highly detailed analysis of what's in the picture. What's there is there, but for example brightness has to be adjusted a bit to bring the boombox bag out of the dark background.

I only did a couple of analysis images enlarged and brightened, what I saw and described was clear right away but doesn't have potential for more detail, too far away. I will post the couple of images. The images are large so I don't (and they won't) embed in this page, just the link.

The deal is, I really don't care what police or family or anyone else thinks any image is. I call it like I see it, and if it isn't clear I don't call it. If it is, I do and post the basis for it.

But thanks for being gentle with me. :)

That's a valuable picture, for a couple of other reasons:
1 - It shows the house with the security cameras (on the left)
2 - The curve of the cul de sac, right where Steven's car was parked. The rear end of the car would have been visible in that picture, if it had been parked there at the time the picture was taken.

Why is that valuable? It shows how short the distance was, that the "speeding" car drove, past CAM3.

If you can upload your images to your webspace, I'll be happy to put your analysis on a timeline page. All's fair, and easy to find.

Not just being gentle with you, RD. There are others who wonder if the person shown in the video is Steven. I am going to defer to the family recognizing him...as much as I love a conspiracy theory, I would think that there would have been evidence of someone else in his car.

The Photos on The "Find Steven Facebook " link above, (post 453) by Ruby Red
shows two photos out of the 34 of Strewn trash as though the family may think homeless people lived behind these homes there?

What's with the trash photos?

Is there a reason for them.......?

There was a homeless encampment apparently-neighbors indicated that there was a man living at the site for a while.
