Thanks.
It might be a tiny detail to some, but for most of us, it explains the system. It's making more sense now.

I guess the only thing that's sticking in our heads now, is why they each (independenly of the other) ended up in Vegas on Dec 13th.

We're a suspicious and skeptical sort.

We are suspicious. But I really think it's worthwhile to further explore why they were both in Vegas that day. A Sunday, when they both, clearly, were supposed to be elsewhere. That fact - along with the various phone calls - really does not sit well with me. I'm convinced there's more to this "coincidence"

Naegle,

Did the Bishop talk to Webb to find out that he wasn't coming? And if the Bishop was assuming that Webb was not going to be there, why wouldn't he first call Webb to find out if he was coming (which he would have told the Bishop that Steven wasn't going to be there either). If he did, why didn't Webb tell him that he talked to Steven and he wouldn't be coming either? And MORE importantly, did Webb show up for church????

Do you know where Steven was "located" when he was talking to Webb? or to the Clerk?

Where

Can you at least let us know if any of the theories that have been presented here have us on the right path? I obviously don't know what the right path is, but like I said before, I favor the idea that Steven was going to Evening Lights to sign a contract. Also, the Brazil idea could have merit.

Can you actually answer our questions (excluding those that would reveal what the family wants to disclose)? Yes, of course! Which have I missed besides the one I'm doing my best to ignore?

Can you reveal what type of contract he would be signing?

Can you tell us anything about Steven's passport? Did he have one? Was it found at his apartment or is it missing?

Interesting about the guy at IHOP. Even though it typically shows up at a younger age, what do you guys think about Schizophrenia? I was just reading up on it a bit and there are a few behaviors that would seem to fit.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know how difficult this all must be for your family.

Flamingo and Boulder Highway is not far from one of the areas I've seen a huge increase of panhandlers in recent years. I imagine there is a homeless "camp" nearby - though it cannot be seen from the roadways.

I will go to that area tomorrow and see what I can find.

OCD - Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. I don't believe I've ever heard of a sudden onset of this, but I suppose anything is possible.

If he had a sudden break with reality- whether it be from a first time sudden schizophrenic break, or a first manic episode, or even just a psychotic break from reality- he could be exhibiting repetitive motions and behaviors. This wouldn't necessarily be Obsessive-Compulsive per say, but more a symptom of the underlying disease; for example, when I have major stress goings on in my life, I have a very bad habit of messing with my hair (twirling in my fingers, running my hands through it, or even brushing it). My coworkers swear it is full blown OCD, but really its more a manifestation of my anxiety and me trying to aleviate my anxiety... Wierd I know, but hey, I am a lil  from time to time.

This has crossed my mind as well.

Okey dokey. IF by chance I should happen upon Steven tomorrow, what do I do? I wouldn't want to upset him, but I wouldn't want to let him wander away either. Any ideas?

Naegle,

Have you gotten any information from his boss? Is there money that he was paying Steven that is unaccounted for? Did he wonder where Steven was the first part of the week? Can you disclose the name of the company he was working for?

I don't want to speak for his family, but I would probably call the police. If he seems like he's having mental health issues they are probably fairly recent and he needs help.

If it were me, I would take a discreet pic from my cell phone and immediately call the police.
Take all relevant police phone numbers with you.

I say this because in all the called in sightings of missing persons,
there never is a pic.
And I think, so, they think, hey, isn't that missing person STEVE...
,,,,and they wait and call it in that night.

If it is him, and he has truly had a break with reality, he may be very very wary of strangers.... Best bet is to call PD and let them handle it. They would be able to take him into custody and get him to a hospital setting ASAP. Plus, there is always a risk of violence, even from someone not known to have been previously violent, from someone having a mental break, so for everyone's safety including yours and Steven's, I would DEFINITELY let the local PD handle approaching him.

In my recent posts I have stated that I thought Steven met someone in the area and fell in love. I think he's probably with that person. At no time did I speculate that he met a gay lover -- although he might have, I simply don't know. He could have met a woman who works as a dancer or a high-end escort. It is the Vegas area, after all. Steven seems to be a man who likes to help others. That trait could be how he was first drawn to such a woman. Those houses in Anthem, some of them are probably rented. I believe that this what is most likely to have happened to him

Hello Everyone,
This is my first post here. I've read all the posts on the previous thread and have been following along. Here are a few of my thoughts and some things I have found:

He was not "offed" for money----unless a loan shark deal.
Mr. Webb should definitely be "looked at" a little closer. His verbiage in his call to Steven was not up to par---Also
I don't know if this is the same Greg Joseph Webb, but there is a person of this name, 54 yo, that has lived in LV and Henderson. Don't know if he lives there now, but he had lived in Utah also, I believe Layton. Maybe his cousin can find out how old Greg is.
I also found this Jeff Bradshaw:
BRADSHAW, JEFFREY DAVID (Age 57)

Associated names:

BRADSHAW, JESS
BRADSHAW, JEFF D
BRADSHAW, JEFFEREY

Possible Employment / Business Associations:

BRADSHAW LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE General Contractors-Single-Family Houses
BRADSHAW LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE Lawn and Garden Services
NEVADA GREEN MANAGEMENT LLC Residential Property Managers
NEVADA GREEN MANAGEMENT LLC Residential Property Managers

Not sure if relevant but I believe his father is Ira WEBB Bradshaw....related to Greg?????

Now, for a little surprise, look on the addresses for Evening Lights, under the name of Arlene/Richard/Colleen L. May, Colleen is in her mid-30's, I'm "assuming" the name of Steven Budin, 42, also listed may have been a former interest. (NV & NY) Her address is unlisted in the white pages, and among her former addresses: Rancho Cordova and Fair Oaks, CA--within 20 miles of SACARMENTO, CA.

This post is long enough for now. I hope this is not a dup of any info or prior posts as I am only on the first page of this thread. I enjoy reading your posts and some posters have gone to incredible lengths in this case.

Just a quick add on to other suspicional thoughts. I know Laytonian will sqinch at this:innocent:, but, I am keeping my mind open to a connection to the Susan Powell case. Why? Besides the fact they went missing within a week of each other, he had lived in West Valley City and worked in SLC, and he was a devout Mormon--- Steven began to act very strange on the 8th of Dec, the day Susan's disappearance became public. His trip to Annmarie's in NV, etc, etc, until the day of his disappearance in which he stated he would not be back for church that day, nor for the basketball game---a few days later. He knew then, he wasn't coming back----for how long tho?
I disagree that Steven would not "help" a married women with toddlers or pass on the thought that he could have more intimate feelings for her. She was a devout Mormon also, 28, cute, petite, outgoing, fun and very logical. She would have been attracted to Steven for his involvement w/the church; something she wanted from her (ugh) husband, who she was reportedly afraid of and thinking about divorcing. There are some that think Josh(husband) and his father made her disappear---the father was anti-Mormon, well to do, with another son w/politico/military ties. The husband was gone for 16-18 hrs riding around the time period of her disappearance--3 days later, after police took his van for a search, he rented a vehicle and put a couple more hundred miles and many hours under his belt. A lot of driving---like Steven.

Must comment...Laytonian, your posts are very interesting and thought provoking. I don't know how familiar you are with the SP case, but if you are not, I sure would like for you to take a look at it. Have seen your other posts around also.

BBM - Like a married woman - who most likely would now also be missing? Oh jeez, I just don't even want to go there!

Makes sense to me, this was about the time Susan P started talking about making her marriage work or divorce.
No one had ever answered my question, if when he was working in SLC and supposedly living in WVC, where she lived, if they were in the same ward. If he was in a singles ward would they have the chance of running into each other? I would imagine, but not sure---I'm not LDS, so don't know. There are so many coincidences within these two cases. Her father stated tonight on TV that LE is physically searching for her and is keeping him UTD on the investigation. People have been questioning why no search; now all of sudden since Steven's case has become public, we find out they are finally doing a search. I'm telling you the more I see, the more I am convinced there is something going on. Maybe Greg KNEW of the relationship/problems and was trying to help. Some people think her husband found out something the night she disappeared and flipped. He was very controlling.

Please do not try to draw comparisons between these two cases again. The likelihood of this happening is laughable. I didn't take you seriously the first time you tried to suggest this, but now I think you may actually believe this. I 'm not trying to be mean but seriously have you followed either story? Niether one points to the other.

This is an open forum. We are all entitled to our opinion. Everything on here is speculation and theories. We do not have the right to ask someone not to post their opinion. If you do not like someone's theory you can just ignore it and move on. That's what I do.

Why? Is it possible they were worried about him? What reason would they have? It does seem a bit odd that three friends called him that morning. What time was Doxey's call to Steven? Wasn't it early? Why wouldn't he think he could just ask Steven when he saw him at church later - unless he knew Steven wouldn't be at church....

Can't wait for that timeline!

I think they knew something............I would love to hear why each of them were in LV. Wonder what the other brothers thought when neither one showed up? Sunday fiasco.

We've had two rather far fetched sightings of a man that may be Steven in the middle of Las Vegas. No matter how far fetched, we checked them out. One person posted on a newspaper website that they thought they had seen Steven get on the 105 bus at MLK and Craig. The second said "I took my grandsons to IHOP on Bldr. Hwy./Flamingo last Friday evening for dinner and a young man that looked sinilar to Steven sat across from us. He was very obviously disoriented. He wore tinted glasses, had what looked like numbers on his neck and r...ight leg. He was very restless, up and down, away from his table. He told the waitress he wanted "the same thing as last night" which turned out to be 3 or 4 glasses of iced tea. Apparently this young man has been going to that IHOP, you might check with the staff there."

JB and his wife went to that IHOP yesterday (1/14/10) with Steven's poster and asked the staff there if it really was Steven. Whoever they talked to couldn't say yes or no. They said the man who came in was very red and she couldn't tell because of that. They also said the man had been coming in regularly for 3 weeks. He seems to be OCD. I don't know if that really means OCD or just weird.

If some mental issue suddenly appeared before Steven headed back to St George this could be him. Steven could have wandered the area between Henderson and the IHOP the first week then settled there because of all the homeless camps in the area. All that wandering outside could have sunburned Steven who is very fair. The tattoos could have been obtained within the past month or they could have just been ink or even dirt. A glass if iced tea (no, I don;t think Steven normally drank that) could be paid for with a days worth of begging money.

All this info was learned last night. Unfortunately, nothing new about it today. Thoughts?

The bus seems plausible. Is that the same sighting we knew of early on? I agree on the second sighting. It seems very far fetched. Doesn't sound like Steven at all. The great news here is that people are aware of Steven and looking out for him.

I'm still not convinced he went there purposely.

Say I drive to a strange town, and take a couple of random turns.
I might have slowed down at one intersection, to see if it was a good place to leave the car...but then, right ahead of me, there's that cul-de-sac. Perfect. I park. Then I leave.

Later, people going *to* that address (after my car's been reported as abandoned), will say things like "she MUST have known where she was going, this is a hard place to find!" or "This makes NO sense unless she had a destination."

Nope. I drove, then turned right, then left at the next street.

Would it have been that easy for the HOA parking authority to get his and his mother's phone numbers?

This brings up a good point. Fairy is close by. Naegle we know the family has been going back and forth to the area to check out sightings and talk to LE and others. I am sure if you need something checked out when family isn't in the area, Fairy would be a good one to ask.

I'm sorry.
I didn't realize everyone here was waiting for someone else's timeline.

I apologize.
I tend to jump in and do things, and now realize I should have asked for permission.
Again. If I offended someone, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to step on someone else's timeline by posting mine here.

I admit I was wondering why it was met with such stony silence, every time I posted the link.

I think it's great and added it to my file on Steven. Thank you very much.
