While I get your point, let me remind everyone that it is early in the game (IMHO) to be discouraging thoughts that might seem outside of the box. And it is important to make sure your posts are adequately respectful to those who want to help solve this mystery. :croc:

If you told me that a man short of cash disappeared from a development where there were homes in foreclosure very close by, a home mortgage company AND a real estate agent who just happened to be passing by the missing man, I would feel the need to look closer at this, um, coincidence.

I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. I'm sorry if it sounded that way.

No worries-the typed word is not expressive...:)

I just dont want the tone of the thread to scare anyone a way who is shy...

Here is the revised poster. Please let me know if you all have any suggested changes, etc.

I really really like that! I'm going to change the link on the timeline (linked from the KLAS story).

I feel so inadequate, when I see what you all can do. ;)

What Doxey said, is what I have on the timeline. Did I misconstrue something about it?

Here's where Naegle clearly stated that there were three separate calls, on Dec 13th:

Ok here's my update on GW. It's not everything, but it's more than I knew before. I'm still working on hammering it out though.

GW called Steven at 8:57 utah time. It was on the records. GW asked Steven if he could attend a meeting (I thought the meeting was in the evening, but that's not verified yet) in his place. Steven said he was in vegas, but would attend if he was needed. GW replied that he was on the road back to St George so he would go to the meeting himself.

Seth Aboud called Steven at 10:47 and asked if he would announce in church that people were getting together for basketball on wed the 16th. Steven said he couldn't because he was in vegas. Seth asked if Steven would be at basketball he said no.

Paul Doxey called Steven around 10:10 and asked if he could couver GW's meeting. Steven said he was in vegas. Paul said nevermind. Paul wrote this on FB, but it is not confirmed!

----------------------------

Question to all: am I wasting my time on the timeline? The goal is to put confirmed statements on it, and provide a place to contain them, so things don't get off-track.

LOVE the timeline...I just want to hammer out the details. I am just confused about the calls. I am pretty sure that the Abboud first call was incorrect, per Naegle. Still searching. I will get back to you about that. I think she said in the end there were only two calls that show up.

What about the other cameras that were filming at the same time? They would be with the other two videos that were put it. Wasn't there a camera that showed him in his car? I thought his mother said something about that. I think if they had a camera on the back of his house, it would have shown that.

Laytonian,

Can you ask Naegle what direction his car was facing? Was the front facing Anthem Street or the desert landscaping to the north? I am curious if he followed the natural progression of the street, or not.

Those are good questions!!

IN FACT, why have we seen no pictures of the car, as it sat there?

Steven's dad is a journalist; I'm sure he thought t do that.

AND...did the family enter the car, before the police had a chance to check it out?

I LOVE IT- can you add one picture for me? I took this from the FB page-I think that Steven looks a little scruffy and not so clean cut, so I think it is a good representation of how he might appear if he were unable to be meticulous about his appearance...

Sure. I deleted one of the smiling ones to make room for this one; now we have a good variety of expressions. I wish this photo (or another one like it) was of higher quality, because when I cropped in on his face, it lost a lot of detail. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions. I'm happy to help in a tangible way.

Just revised per a great suggestion from Believe09!

Please don't feel inadequate -- we all have our own talents to offer; I wish I was as analytical as you! :)

Above is what Naegle wrote. She stated that Seth called and asked Steven to make an announcement about basketball. No he is in Vegas. Then asked if he would be playing basketball. No. That call happened at 10:47, but we know from Doxey that Seth called at 11:15 and asked that. The way we have it now, Seth knew twice....based on the call above, that Steven was not going to be there. That does not make sense, hence the confusion and something needs to be changed or Seth knows something (but I doubt that).

IIRC, from the article swjaxon wrote, Dad said that the car started right up-so I am thinking that he opened it and tried to start it himself....I am sure that we can get this nailed down.

I remember that conversation.

Didn't she say that a call from Doxey didn't show up...? That's when Doxey posted on FB that it was Abboud who had called, due to the Bishop having asked him to do so?

If there truly were only two calls, where did that 9:47am time come from?

I don't want to remove a detail, unless something is confirmed to take it's place. It's the little things that count. The fact that we're questioning it, is good.

Here's a dumb question, but important enough. Did Dad have a set of keys, or did they find Steven's keys in the car??? Or did they find them somewhere around the area...hence the search? Just want to pin that one down...as to not make assumptions anymore.

Question for Naegle.

How did the family start Steven's car?

She did say that it came from Seth agreed...but if that is the case, then Seth already knew he would not be there and wouldn't need to call again, correct?

The reason I bring it up, is because I think it's why LE wasn't interested in fingerprinting the car.

I've got those things on my list of questions.

Yup. That's the circle we've been going in.

This week, I posted a theory here: that Abboud knew, but rather than telling the Bishop what he knew, made the call on behalf of the Bishop. By that time, the Bishop couldn't have been thrilled that his President and 1st Counselor had both skipped out.

If the calls didn't have specific times on them, I could discount one. But that time came from somewhere.

You and laytonian are on a similar track to mine...BUT-I am also curious as to the time lapse from the discovery of the vehicle to the MP report being filed....DON"T Answer!!! I am checking the timeline!!!

There is pic of the car. In the very first posts.

Re: phone calls from church members:

The timeline is on their FB....wouldn't they let you know if it's not correct?

Confused on this...Early in the threads, it was mentioned that the white SUV belonged to a RE Agent---and the SUV was mentioned as being in the driveway of the last house on Savannah as seen in the satellite image of map. (Steven's father noticed it & followed up) This was across and up the street from Mr. Security. The video shows him driving past first and parking. Seems to me he would have gotten out of the car (6 min later) about the time he could have seen it coming down towards him on Savahanna. It passes right by him as he comes into view of the camera. The SUV (whch normally parks at the house on the end) goes down the street and immediately turns around and parks in front of the house that is for sale. Not the driveway. The house does not have a sign in front of it--nor thru my checking--is there any house in that immmediate area for sale. Which I did find strange because of the demographics of ALL the houses that are on the market surrounding this small little piece of a subdivsion. TY Fairy for the post --I found a website that had *dots* for all RE for sale in the surrounding area. (Anthem) It was astounding how many there were. Just none among the 150 or so houses in that small area of homes. I think the SUV looks suspicious--if only for the fact that it seems to be watching Steven.

K checked the timeline-it is not clear. I will wait to hear an answer from CC's question about how/when the family entered the vehicle.

BTW-what's the prevailing theory about where Steven spent the evening of the 12th? He left home at 1030PM or so and headed out. He had pillows and blankets in his car. What is a likely place for him to pull over and sleep between ST George and Henderson, locals??? Not only that, he needed a place to freshen up.

Wonder if he held a marker at any of the casinos? this would be another reason he was low on cash.

I'd read through those posts several times, and never saw an image of the car, as it sat abandoned in that cul-de-sac. Just the videos, and a picture of a generic car that resembles his.

I've really missed something, haven't I?

Oh well.
