When you read the description of their time together, long walks to the park, heart to heart talks, her consoling him, teaching him to be a man, cooking for him.....sounds pretty deep, imo.

And WHO would be most likely to be upset over this deep personal relationship, if it existed?

Anyone else find it odd that Bob, after receiving the most devastating news of his life while hundreds of miles from home... trying to hold it together while he makes this agonizing journey back to his heartbroken and terrified children... has the foresight to CALL THE MEDIA? I would hardly be able to even DRIVE... someone would have to drive me home.. I would be a basket case... not establishing a media personality... unless of course I had kind of expected it...

I believe I saw the same in the video that you are referencing; that husband couldn't reveal what he knew so that LE could proceed with the investigation their way.....and then he went on a bit to extoll the virtues of LE and that he would not have anything further to say.

Yes, but then I just watched the presser with LE and I'm it does not sound like that is the case. LE also said that the sketch situation would make more sense once all of the details came out. He also did not rule out a Meyer family arrest.

I honestly don't know what to make of this story anymore. Everyone's behavior is extremely bizarre. Even the suspect's behavior. If he had just shot his neighbor, and he knew the neighbor's husband and son knew about it, and that they had knocked on his door. Why would he stay at the house? Why not run?

Protestations that a main player was 400 miles from the scene are echoing right now. I can't help but wonder if there was a man to man talk with the other man before leaving town. We don't know how long he was gone do we and/or any calls made. There may have been some lines in the sand drawn and or threats. Father did miss 20 yr old's birthday - same age as the accused too. Maybe father knew bad boy would be there and just couldn't bear to attend. Also, if there were hard feelings, it would be easy to put up Mom's prized car (if it exists) as reward - very symbolic MOO

I'm also assuming LE has taken a look at EVERYONE'S cellphones and computers ; and checked on what may have been discussed leading up to 2/14.

Why should anyone automatically believe that the dude who was arrested today fired the first shot, or that he even fired a weapon at all?

Based on posts upthread describing BM's FB page, he appears to be a hothead (to put it mildly).

Sure, whomever was in the 'silver-or-grey-four-door-sedan' pulled into the cul-de-sac in front of the Meyer's house but, for all anyone knows, the shooter whose bullet ultimately killed TM may not have fired the first shots. IDK how LE will be able to figure out who fired first, though.

Police presser going on right now. I wish I could post a link. I will look. But the spokesperson just said that police did not know until today that the family knew the suspect.

Grieving family, no charges for giving LE false statements. The father can't blame anyone other that his own children for delaying the arrest of the suspect today. Besides he himself knew, it was stated up thread he went to the house knocking at the door.
Mother is dead for almost a week and police just find out today the family knew the shooter, (arte johnson) very interesting. Some folks here posted that connection right away. Jmo

Maybe they did not tell the story correctly. Maybe there was no road rage incident at all. Maybe at the birthday party, Tammy and/or her daughter find out something about EN that makes them very angry. And they confront him, call him, look for him etc. And when they do find him they argue and thats when the threats happen. And Mom takes daughter home and gets her son and the loaded weapon and they go seeking out EN again. If thta is the case, then they were possibly the aggressors. And they would not want to point out his identity to LE. JMO

This may be a lot closer to the truth than what we have been told so far, in my opinion. Even with the new information about TM knowing the suspect, it appears she was mentoring him, trying to get him to "change", etc. and there is nothing so far to explain why he would want to kill TM. It is still beyond belief why she would be doing this for him with four children of her own who need her attention and one of them, with a baby.

Reporter on CNN says she interviewed Robert Meyer and he said Tammy knew the suspect and tried to counsel him. Jeez. SCRATCHING HEAD HERE!

So according to this article the suspect was known by the Meyers family and TM had counseled him many times at the park where all this went down. RM said they didn't tell LE that his family knew EN because he (EN) knew where they lived. So why in the world would TM & BM go out looking for the car if he was so bad? Apparently you can't believe anything this family is saying. SMH

It bothers me that Erich will be charged with 3 felony charges before the police have even spoken to him. Does that ean they buy the crap this group is saying? What a mess.
