Also there is another parking lot on the other side of the school. The pictures I posted some pages back, was showing the smaller parking lot, the one on the other side is a lot bigger so maybe that is where "the driving lessons" took place. If that is the case than I can see mom and daughter driving the main streets instead of the neighborhood streets, even thought I think it would have been quicker to take the neighborhood streets. So, with that said, I still think something isn't right about their statements on why they were out and about, and why TM didn't call 911 instead of taking actions into her own hands.

I also have snow on my windshield, yes, it's snowed here last night ;)
But it was 70 degrees there yesterday wasn't it? Did you just experience all 4 seasons in the scope of 24 hours? Stay safe out there!

So now finally, the truth is starting to leak out. I think we all knew there was some kind of prior relationship between EN and TM. And most likely she was buying drugs. So both sides were being untruthful when they said they did not know who the other person was. EN KNEW who was in that big green Buick and that is why he called his friend to come and be back up for him. And TM was not giving her girl driving lessons that night, she was looking for EN and wanting to know why he shorted her or gave her bogus pills, imo.

The 'road rage' incident was probably EN saying 'suck it, Mama, too bad---back off or you're dead.' JMO :cow:

From the article.

The Meyers get a little cocky sometimes, but they're nice people, they don't deserve what happened to them.

'Erich, on the other hand has Napoleon Syndrome all the way. He would always try to argue.

Not a good mix of personalities to be doing drug deals together.

The Las Vegas Police Department have been playing down any references to the Alta Block gang, with officer Miguel Garcia telling us: 'We cant say it is an actual gang or how many people are in it, because our detectives are working right now to figure out if it's a real gang or not.'

When multiple residents are being threatened with guns, it's a clue that the gang is real. They might not be ghetto gangsters, but police need to treat them as a real threat to society for gooodness sake. I'm glad this Stan spoke out. Gangs and organized crime thrive on fear. The only way to keep gangs and organized crime out of areas is for people to have the nerve to speak up.

Aren't you something? Thank you!

Would like to have taken the full route but hard to drive with cell phone in hand :blushing: My cell phone was too big for the car mount.. I thought of having hubby drive while I take the video, but he would think I was nuts and to leave it to the police. Then I would have to tell him that the police come to us for answers.. lol

I know the ones who do Oxy will often also do Xanax. When they can't afford the pills anymore, then end up switching to heroin because it's cheaper. It's so sad. I just don't understand how people today don't realize the risks of pills. When I was growing up, nobody touched heroin because we truly believed you'd end up living in the gutter the next day. Now, heroin addiction is everywhere. It's the pills that are causing it. Some people get addicted via legitimate prescriptions at first. Some people start using pills illegally and get addicted. It's so expensive that financial ruin is common.

because drs prescribe them with abandon. They hand out oxy every time you get a tooth out- whether you need it or not. I dont think most people hooked on prescription drugs ever thought it would happen to them.

I'm using my own experience, and can't imagine going off the deep end. Actually it helps me not go off the deep end. With that said, I've been on them for years, it is a low dose, once a day, and I realize Xani Bars, and higher doses may be different. I took two once, and there was no way I was going to get in trouble. But, everyone has a different tolerance level with drugs.

I have taken it a few times and all I did was sleep. It put me to sleep within 20 minutes of taking it (best sleep ever by the way), so I totally understand where you are coming from. However, you and I aren't abusing it. My family member was abusing it - he couldn't function without it. I also suspect that he was taking other pills along with it although I don't have proof of that.

LOL, seems like it. I was surprised it snowed so of course I had to get pics of that, too  :D

So was there an Audi or not?

Why did EN say he "got those kids?"

Ok, I'm hoping this works. I took a VERY short video, I'm actually starting it on Cherry River, to the right is the park. Once I make my turn and as the camera turns, that is Mt. Shasta, then I drive to Alta, make a right and the up coming light is Cimarron. Sorry, the video is shaky since I was driving with my phone in my hand.. lol Again, it's no biggie but it's something.. lol

Before we all jump aboard this guy's bandwagon, please google his name. (The full name as previously noted in my earlier posts.)

Police said Meyers then dropped off her daughter at home and pressed her 22-year-old son to come along and find the vehicle involved in the incident. Meyers told her son to bring his handgun, police said.

Meyers and her son were able to locate the vehicle just nearby. The pair then returned to their home

snipped for focus.

So.... what was TM's plan? What'd TM say to BM at home? "Get your gun, we're going to find that silver car and then come home."

I'd bet a lot of money that the plan consisted of more than finding the silver car and then going back home.

There's a difference between your using prescribed medication as directed and addicts abusing prescription medication. These addicts are taking large amounts. After they have a tolerance to the drug, they start smashing the pills and snorting them. After that isn't enough, they start smoking them. It's not too long after that they end up on heroin if the finances didn't cause them to switch to heroin sooner. They're not dangerous while they're on drugs, but they're dangerous when they need their fix. Another thing is they mix drugs together. They'll take stimulants to stay awake and downers to sleep. They can sleep for days. And they get super sick, vomiting and such, if they try to quit or don't have access to more.

That's the Meyers' version of the story. You're missing that it's possible the Meyers went out looking for him from the very beginning when he saw them at the school. I believe there was an underlying conflict that existed before anyone got into a car that night, and the Meyers family were the first people to get into a car and go looking for anyone.

Yes, we know that we can't trust the Meyers' version of the story. Er... well... any of the many versions they've told.

It could be that one or more of the Meyers owed EN -- owed him money, drugs, weapons, or something else. There's an argument. He thinks owe more than they think they do, or something. Words are exchanged. Shots are fired. But ultimately the Meyers tell EN, "Come on back to our house, we'll take care of it." EN follows them home (as requested), BM pulls his gun, EN fires. Self defense?

I had a patient once who had his pain pills ( he was on legitimately for an injury ) stolen from his home. Did not want to ask the doc for more ( was afraid she would think he was lying to get more pills...) I finally called FOR him... he was a sweaty, nauseated mess. Withdrawls are not something I would wish on anyone.

It's difficult to get pain medication in my area of the country. My kids weren't given any pain meds after getting wisdom teeth taken out. Even the ERs are sending people home on Tylenol because there are people who purposely break their own bones so they can try to get pain meds. It's not even possible to get prescriptions from different doctors. Everything is computerized. The doctor can see what prescriptions you've had filled at the pharmacies and which doctors prescribed them. Maybe not every area of the country is like this, but the medical community is really cracking down on access to these drugs where I live.

Absolutely! My sister became addicted after undergoing a few surgeries over a period of months back in the 90s. The doctor told her she was addicted, no longer needed pain meds, and cut her off. The difference is she didn't go out finding more on the streets. She knew what addiction was and didn't want to go down that road once she realized the doctor was right. She suffered through the withdraw and overcame it.

JMO--Maybe owed, maybe...owned? I am really wondering how deep a relationship/(possibly a shady highly involved business?) relationship there was. It went on long enough that Dad didn't seem to get that bragging about giving the kid lots of money in the park sounded...very, very odd. (The kid was NOT homeless, lived right around the corner.)

Of course the kid is now the suspect. His defense attorney will be working to gain his trust. I think everything will eventually come out, because whatever the reason, we have a deceased victim. That's a terribly serious offense.

it's going to be a fascinating presentation of the evidence ..... yes EN has a less than stellar record wrt to the law and the victims have less than stellar recall of events MOO

I'm not saying BM is a bad kid, but the stuff he has posted online make him seem like a major hothead who has some serious anger issues - stuff he's been posting prior to Tammy's death.

Also, AFAIK, we only have his word for it that he initially told his mom to stay home and call 911.

And even that only came out after everyone following this case had been asking for days why she didn't just stay home and call 911. It was definitely not part of any of the earliest versions of the Meyers' many versions.
