Has it been published that they have had a funeral for TM? I know it may have been private, etc... Just wondering if any MSM sources have mentioned it?

I remember BM saying something about funeral, but he wasn't discussing any definitive dates or plans. I don't blame them for not having a funeral. It would be a media circus. But my husband and I don't intend to do funerals for ourselves so my view supporting their not having one might be unpopular.

It's not a mistake. Websleuths' media source requirement does not restrict to only media sources with direct quotes. News articles aren't transcripts. Everyone knows that. It's our problem if you have higher requirements for information provided here.

I never said it wasn't allowed only that it is not in quotations which means it was not necessarily what was said.

Question for our gun law experts:

If convicted of felonies as a juvenile, can one legally possess a firearm in Nevada?

I'm pretty sure you have to be 21 years old but not sure about juvenile convictions.

RM is ramping up his spin. Now he's attempting to blame his son for the lies and omissions:
"The reason I didn’t know this story is, for one, it wasn’t explained to me," Robert Meyers said. "It was explained to me one way. And that’s how I told it. Until we started getting all the information and all the facts came out, that’s how I have knowledge of all this. My son was very hurt, thinking I was going to blame him for his mom going down, and he didn’t come forward with all the things."

Oh, and when the road rager yelled "I'm going to get you and your daughter" he knew it was a mother and daughter because the daughter was screaming "mommy mommy mommy!"

By all objective standards, RM should have closed his mouth on day one and kept it closed. And he should still be keeping it closed. When you're in a hole, you should stop digging.

Every time he opens his mouth, something new falls out that's damaging to the Meyers family credibility.

from that video at link I ''heard'' LE has 24 hr watch at the M family house until driver is arrested -- pretty nice to hear....for many reasons...

No worries, everyone completely understands! You've already gone above and beyond your WS calling.

I did read a post a ways back that said the Meyers have a policeman guarding their house because the driver is still not in custody. I don't have a link for it so strictly rumor. I thought that was interesting.

bbm: here you go re 24/7 guard -- it's at the end of the video provided in first quote....

Based on what the reporter says in the video, it was recorded the day after EN was arrested because she says "the day after the suspect has been arrested."

Thanks, my connection is sketchy right now and I couldn't watch the video.

I wondered about juvenile convictions and how they impact adult privileges on owning a gun too.

edited: this is really fascinating look at Nevada in this list - juvenile convictions are not considered....so he could own a gun !

http://smartgunlaws.org/prohibited-people-gun-purchaser-policy-summary/

according to this information it seems 18 is the age a person can legal possess a gun (not a CCW though)

''Nevada 18 Y/O NRS 202.310 This is the minimum age for possessing and transporting a handgun unloaded and secured in a vehicle without any type of permit/license to carry firearms''

as far as I know it is 'against the law' to be sitting in school ground with a gun.......that may also be why some one ((EN)) was a bit more than nervous.....

please correct me if I am wrong on this folks

A school or a public park would be no carry zones in most areas, I'd think but this is Nevada, so IDK. One video on CNN may have shown a sign with rules for the park.

I've wondered the same thing. It's also seems (based on the gems they've chose to publicize) that the family doesn't have many pictures of her. It all makes me feel she was very lonely.

I think the photos of her are beautiful. I love the one in the sombrero and the one in front of the car is just stunning. It looks like she did fun stuff. Too bad she didn't get to do more.
