SpanishInquisition, you are en fuego! When you finish solving this case, could you take a look at the Jon Benet and the Rebecca Zahau cases, please? Perhaps you should send that first long post of yours to the defense.
There is a minimum of one chase by the Meyers and I'm very suspicious of there being two chases by the Meyers. The easiest way that I hope I can convey my suspicion of two separate chases is to point out that the Meyers first contact with the Audi was on Durango, but the alleged verbal threat happened two streets away from first contact and one street after the Meyers said the Audi passed them. If the Meyers weren't doing something once they were on Westcliff there is no reason nor is there adequate explanation for the U-turn and verbal threat to happen on Cimarron. Per the complaint at time of the threat the Meyers are magically ahead of the Audi after having been cut off by it, which this just puts off a certain odor. If the Meyers were afraid of the Audi, they had ample opportunity to get away from it after the alleged first honk. If not an outright chase, it looks like the Meyers were engaged in Quien Es Mas Macho by first honking and speeding up when the Audi tried to pass and then doing a retaliatory cut in front of the Audi after the Audi had allegedly cut in front of them, which neither explanation looks good where the Audi driver separately from EN could feel threatened.
Are there any pictures of the skid marks on Cimarron? I'd like to know what the police have done in recording and measuring the skid marks to know what car made the marks. It is not outside the realm of possibility that the Meyers are the ones who made the skid marks and at this time I'm not confident that the police are doing a sufficient job investigating. Unless those marks are proactively proven to belong to an Audi and don't fit the Buick, it could have been the Meyers that did the U-turn that caused the Audi driver to get out of the car...or at least that will be an argument available to the defense to make if the police aren't protecting the integrity of the evidence.
When you look at the description MM gave of the route she and TM drove after they finished driving lessons, it's not much different from the crazy routes they took when TM and BM were supposedly in the car. I'll bet the first route with TM and MM in the car was a car chase too. The question is who was really in the car then? It was likely one continuous car chase instead of two separate incidents with two different people in the car each time.
OMG! I have an idea of why the car returned home to get BM! Perhaps MM was out driving by herself without a license!
There's a couple parts of the Complaint that I haven't been able to fully square and I have considered that. Per EN's account: "Nowsch told Krisztian he was driving by the school in a silver four door Audi when he saw a green car in school parking lot waiting for him. Nowsch said someone was waving a gun out the window. Nowsch said the green car began following him and then they started chasing one another." That doesn't make sense as the only time described by either KM or BM that would fit that description would be before BM said he was in the car when KM alleged reached over TM to honk. Further driving my speculation based on EN's account is this: "Nowsch told Altergott there was an exchange between the green car and the Audi and then the green car began following the Audi. Nowsch told Altergott he thought he saw a gun being pointed from the window of the green car so he put a clip in his gun and started shooting at the green car." Based on the second hand accounts of Krisztian and Altergott it sounds like what may have happened was that EN thought the Meyers were menacing him in the park, so he called to get picked up. After EN gets picked up both cars chased one another (explaining why the Meyers drove past their house and onto Durango), then there was the verbal confrontation followed by the Meyers pulling out their weapon and chasing the Audi. I'm not convinced this is necessarily what happened, just I do know the case smells rotten and <modsnip>.
We can't deny the judgment of $25,000 on 1/5/2015 either. I just can't wrap my head around the entire family being part of a cover up. Is this even possible?
The Cool parents forget their kids grow up someday and resent the parents, some do anyway
I don't think any specifics have been clarified about the security camera yet.I only pop in on this thread every dozen or so pages,, so does anyone know if the security camera footage of the suspects car could also have footage of the Meyers car? Was it said what street the footage came from? Could there be a recording of the cars passing multiple times? TIA
I could see it either way. Based on what we've seen so far, I could see all members of the family as having the ability to be threatening and having a bad temper. One thing that has been said in defense of her that I found off-putting and potentially confrontation was her telling EN to pull his pants up. Such a discussion is far easier to be seen as insulting EN rather than nurturing EN. What the family is now calling nurturing could have been bullying and taunts, at least in the most recent past between EN and the Meyers.
After I went through the warrant with the map, I don't think anything is clear at all. With GZ, it was very clear from the beginning what happened that night just like it is very clear what happened in Vegas
This case reminds me so much of the Zimmerman case where people when people were making up stories about him and the events of the night. The stories people made up were off the wall just like they are in this case.

That is a high speed chase for the Audi to gain 75' in such a short stretch. They Meyerses were definitely chasing the Audi.
Since EN's friends stated EN said he saw a gun, shooting back would be self defense---especially after speeding away and trying to evade the Meyerses for so long.

SpanishInquisition qualified that with the recent past. Many would consider brandishing a gun on someone to be bullying and threatening.

We were all having a refreshing exchange of ideas and suddenly you're posting your short one or two sentence regurgitations.EN chased them to their house then murdered Tammy and attempted to murder Brandon. He unloaded 22 rounds and he is a cold blooded killer.
Bullying? Really? Did you forget the other thing they did for him?
It doesn't matter. He followed them to their home, murdered Tammy and tried to murder her son. It's a good thing that no one else was murdered.
I'm in the process of reading the warrant with the map now and plotting these street names into the map.
The first thing that strikes me is in the first paragraph when it TM took over driving on "Villa Monterey south of Cherry River." I plotted that into the map and instantly recognized the location as the first shooting scene! I don't believe it's a coincidence that TM supposedly took over driving at the very spot that would supposedly become the first shooting scene later.
The next conflict is when they return to the house. Daughter said she went and told her brother someone was following and threatening them. He got dressed and went into his grandmother's room for his gun. According to the warrant, he got his gun on his own gumption. Didn't news reports say that his mother told him to get his gun? Where did that story come from? Bob?
