NV NV - Tiffany Booth, 35, (fnd dec) & Eduardo Clemente, 38, Las Vegas, vehicle found, 27 Sep 2020

If I remember correctly, he was last seen in Nevada. He was helped by a family and I believe that was in Nevada already, coming from Idaho.

I honestly wonder what is next move is going to be. Like, what’s his plan? How long can he stay off-grid? I doubt he had time to actually prepare to be off-grid for a considerable amount of time. If he doesn’t manage to get food and water he’s going to die eventually. I really want him to be found alive so he can be properly punished. He thinks he’s smarter than everyone else, since he’s a total con-artist I can see him holding on for a while, not off-grid though. Are there any cabins or something like that in the areas mentioned by LE?

I hope they find him alive too. I don't think it's sustainable for him to stay out there very long, which is why I think he will be found sooner rather than later! I'm not sure about the cabins; maybe someone familiar with the area will chime in!

It's been damn cold in Ruby Mountains these days, below freezing. If he doesn't have a proper shelter, fire and good amounts of food, dude is freezing his butt off right now. He won't last there long, considering that he has no experience in living on his own in the mountains. He will either die there or he will get to the inhabited areas trying to rob or con someone.

I feel like the fact he was found pretty much squatting in someone’s backyard speaks volumes about his lack of survival skills! If he is in a remote area I would think it would be living with someone he knows and not on his own perhaps.

Or he broke into someone's cabin and is using their food and their fuel.

If there are any cabins in that area, I would bet on that. I can't see him going 100% off-grid.

Could he really have just walked? I do wonder when he dumped the car.
He dumped Tiffany's car near Ely on his way back from Idaho on or before October 8. A few days later somebody gave him a lift to Henderson, which is in the southeastern part of Nevada. Now they are suspecting he's in the mountains in the north east, around Ely (again) or even in Idaho. He could not have walked there from Henderson. I wonder how they know he went back north again.

Was it determined whether Eduardo was the unidentified bank robber?

The detective in the interview would not disclose what part of Idaho he was in, pretty tight lipped as far as providing specifics (as he should be).

Someone has to be helping EC. I can't see him taking a bus, or hitch-hiking to his off grid destination.

In an early media article it was said that Tiffany's bank card was last used on October 6 in Idaho at a McDonald's and Stinker's gas station. There's one in Idaho Falls.

From EC's charges we can see that he used her card five times. I wonder if he has any money left. Perhaps he's getting by by stealing. He could have stolen a vehicle.

This is exactly what I am picturing. He may be holed up in a cabin. I do worry a bit that he may harm another person. Not that he looks like a real go getter with tons of strength. But I do feel like he is capable of stalking/targeting and calculating an opportunity to strike. I hope they are on him asap.

We already know dude is violent and capable of murder. If he gets desperate due to the cold and hunger, he might become very dangerous. If I were living in the Ruby mountains or in Idaho, I'd be very cautious of a sudden slew of break-ins with cash, food and warm clothing being stolen.

Yep! Desperation and survival could drive him to desperation. I would be on high alert if I lived in that area for sure.

He wouldn’t be the first fugitive to be able to shelter at a vacant cabin/home. The thing is, Winter is coming and people might be starting to migrate to their Winter/Holiday residences. What may buy him some time is the whole situation with COVID, I believe many people are migrating a lot less because of the virus and not going to their Winter homes.

A few more details at: Family of Las Vegas woman found dead in Indian Springs aids in hunt for killer

Tiffany Booth took a liking to her boyfriend’s fleece blanket so much that it was one of the first things her mother noticed was gone from their condo after the couple disappeared.

It only took the mother a quick look at a brown-and-white square patterned cloth shown on a crime scene photograph for her to confirm that her daughter was dead.

Within the last year, Booth and Clemente went from co-workers at an IT department to friends. When the pandemic shut down Nevada, they became roommates and then a couple.

Judy Booth said her daughter only told her they were together on Sept. 27, during a dinner the last night she saw or heard from her.

“He just seemed like a normal person,” Judy Booth said. “I did not see anything in him at all.”

Would the vehicle theft charge relate to Tiffany's car or did he actually stole another car?

I wonder why he went to Idaho and then, why he went back to Nevada.

So, Tiffany told her mother about dating Eduardo on September 27th and then, never talked again. Was that the trigger for this horrible crime, her outing their relationship?

IMO the charge relates to Tiffany's car, since she likely didn't leave the condo alive.

It's strange that her mother didn't learn about their relationship earlier, since she and Tiffany kept in touch frequently. Maybe Eduardo was a controlling boyfriend with a short temper and/or a fragile ego. Or maybe he's just a predator.

I haven't seen any follow up articles on that robbery. The guy involved was of the right height, though they said he was older. IMO it likely wasn't Eduardo.

A few pictures of the condo doors with fingerprint powder were posted on the official fb page: Help FIND Tiffany BOOTH

A cleanup is mentioned, though not for biohazard, so perhaps there wasn't an obvious crime scene found at the condo. Eduardo would have tried to cover his tracks.

I just remembered that Tiffany posted a picture with Eduardo on her fb profile on September 17 from which it could be implied that they were together. He also posted another picture in the comments. She referred to him as her boyfriend on a community post about a package delivery for him. So outing their relationship likely wasn't the motive. Her neighbor was aware of it as well.

ETA: Eduardo's fb profile picture, posted on September 17, is also of them together (wearing masks).

ETA2: From an older article (Missing Woman’s Car Found abandoned in Ely, family pleas for help)

“We knew they were dating, when they finally told us, we weren’t surprised.” Judy said.

The last time Judy physically spoke to Tiffany and Eduardo was when they went over to Judy’s boyfriends house on September 27, 2020. “That’s the last time I seen them physically and spoke to them,” said Judy.

I seriously doubt that he is operating in the fully rational mode.
