"Need rifle. Can you help ......

Any gun would do, Miller wrote, as long as it worked on the "evil tyrant bastards."

One person replied, "ak47." A second asked, "What happened to urs?" A third offered, "What are you looking for."

A fourth person chimed in that the "Gun store has plenty of rifles." Miller replied, "We broke bro, believe me if we had the money we would be at some of the best gun stores in the country buying what we need. Idc if its a ww2 m4 lol. something for when they call us terrorists, we can defend ourselves."

"You and I both know that you shouldn't be using Facebook for this. Get yourself a tor router and be anonymous like the constitution always intended," the person wrote. Miller replied, "lol im just ****ing around."

he fact that the post is still up raises questions about how well Facebook's effort to crack down on illegal gun sales is working. In March, the social network announced that it would start deleting posts that offer to buy or sell guns without background checks.

looking back through photos on Amanda's FB ... family Christmas 2013

she is holding two presents, one Shooter's Bible and one Extreme Survival book, Jerad is holding one of his gifts, a gun toilet brush

it's obvious to me that others were aware of their obsessions

she loved animals ... it's too bad she couldn't have channeled all that energy into animal rescue

Joseph Wilcox, 31, was shot and killed while confronting suspect Jared Miller, police said.

Wilcox's family said he was at the Walmart in the 300 block of North Nellis Boulevard near Stewart Avenue late Sunday morning to return a cable modem with a friend. When Jared Miller and his wife, Amanda Miller, burst into the store, yelling about a revolution, Wilcox, who was carrying a firearm, made the decision to get involved.

"My son carries a CCW and happened to have his firearm. He stopped carrying for the longest time. He pulled it and his friend said, ‘Joseph, let's go.' His friend started running, turned around and didn't see Joseph," said Joseph Wilcox's mother, Debra Wilcox.

Metro police said Joseph Wilcox confronted Jared Miller, but wasn't aware Amanda Miller was behind him. She shot him from behind...

I almost couldn't even finish that video. As soon as he said "new world order" I started having flashbacks to 1993 or so and my eyes rolled so far I couldn't see anymore. :ohoh:

Two years before Jerad Miller and his wife, Amanda, allegedly gunned down two police officers and a third person in a Las Vegas shooting spree, before taking their own lives, he pondered when it might be justified to kill law enforcement officers on the website of conspiracy-peddling radio personality Alex Jones. In a May 28, 2012, post titled, "The Police (To Kill Or Not To Kill?)" Miller wrote on Jones' Info

….depict an angry, down-on-his-luck man who blamed his woes—decaying teeth, lack of health insurance, and inability to find work—on the tyranny of government. …….The justice system became a focus of Miller's wrath following his arrest for selling marijuana. "Before I got arrested I had 2 jobs and was selling weed to my friends and family on the side," he wrote. "Now I cannot find a job. My probation officer states that if I protest that my probation will be violated. They have tried to tell my fiance, who has no criminal record, that she may not own a firearm if I live in the house. Now, i face a dire problem."

………, "I was arrested for a crime, that is a felony, yet i hurt no one. Never laid a hand on a person or their property. Was selling something on the black market that is in high demand. Yet there is no victim in the crime i committed, so how can that be a felony charge? A charge that takes my 1st, 2nd, and 4th right away? How can this be? Do I really live in a free country?"
……..also related another brush with law: when he was searched by police at the home a friend who had an open warrant for his arrest
.
……….. I'm afraid they may try to do some stuff like that to my fiance and I. ………. I feel that I have been violated and tread upon. That the so called justice system has done me harm. I do not wish to kill police. I understand that most of them believe they are doing the right thing. Yet, I will not go to jail, because I have not committed a crime!

Miller's then-fiance, Amanda Woodruff, commented on Jerad's post: "Jerad, baby, I love you with all my heart and I'll stand behind you no matter what. It's true that its not fair that i can’t have a gun because you live with me. I know its not right that my rights get taken away from me because I live in the same home as you but I would love to see them try and enforce that. …..
I have not seen a dentists in 14 years. I take good care of my teeth. The job market has been horrible. The few temporary jobs i find havent been able to earn me enough money to go see a dentist.

Since I dont have insurance or medicaid the cost is around 500 to 1000 dollars. So as I sit here in agony, taking the penasilin the ER perscribed me I contemplate the state of things here in the good old USA. How the Gov. spends billions of dollars on the war on drugs and all these missles and bombs to kill people.

… all that money that could do to helping people instead. Creating jobs, creating happy, healthy people. I dont want a hand out. I just need a foundation to stand on. One that wont be pulled out from under me as soon as i step up on it. I’m a 29 year old american who has never once had a good enough job to have health insurance

Oh, geez... Glad they were stopped early although it's so sad they executed three people. Not sure if this has been posted, it's a long interview with Kelley Fielder, the woman they were staying with (scroll down a bit and click on pic of lady in blue shirt video)

Police records in Tippecanoe County show a list of arrests for Jerad Miller, dating back to 2007. Those offenses include criminal recklessness, pointing a firearm, possession and dealing marijuana and battery. Police in Las Vegas say he was also convicted of felony charges for vehicle offenses in Washington state.
manda Miller's best friend in Lafayette, Jessica Bernard, says it's still hard to believe her friend could have gone on a killing spree. "She was just like my sister," Bernard told Eyewitness News Monday.
"I took her to see him when he was in jail for...I don't know what he was charged with, but I took her to see him and I let her stay with me for about a month before going to Nevada," Bernard said.

Bernard and Amanda Miller graduated together from Jefferson High School in Lafayette"Jerad would always talk about the government and how he thought they were watching him all the time," Bernard said.
She said Amanda was happy, but was becoming increasingly paranoid.

"The only thing I can think of is, she kept saying something about the government was watching her every move," Bernard said.
When Bernard visited Amanda's family home in Lafayette Monday, she was greeted with a big hug from one of her best friend's family members.

A bookstore owner said he had a run-in with the Millers just days before the murders when they came into his shop looking for the dystopian novel “Animal Farm.”

Academy Fine Books owner Gary Frick said he got caught in a short but dramatic debate with Jerad.

Frick said the hot-headed 31-year-old covered everything from Bundy to the Declaration of Independence to the morality of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, guns and drugs in a span of less than 15 minutes. He kept misquoting things and incorrectly using words, Frick said, all the while sounding very sure of himself.

And he didn’t like when the bookstore owner pushed back.
“He liked to argue, but he didn’t want to be argued with,” Frick said.
Amanda didn’t want to argue either, and kept pulling on Jerad’s arm, saying “Come on, come on, let’s go.”

When the pair finally left the shop — without “Animal Farm,” which wasn’t in stock — Jerad yelled over his shoulder multiple times, “You better re-read the Constitution, buddy!”

n early May, Jerad Miller posted a statement foreshadowing Sunday’s attack:
“There is no greater cause to die for than liberty. To die for that cause is easy, to live for it is another matter. I will willingly die for liberty. Death, in a sense is freedom from tyranny. Death, is the easy way out. Most notably is the ‘suicide by cop’ routine. Yes, standing before despots is dangerous and most likely does not end well for you. I know this, my wife knows this. Soon they will come for us, because they don’t like what we think, and what we say. They don’t like the fact that we, simply will not submit to fascist rule. We don’t have much, but we are willing to sacrifice everything…….for you, for your freedoms. Even if you wouldn’t let us have ours. We know who we are and what we stand for, do you?”

Miller’s last post on the social media site, time-stamped at 4 a.m. Saturday reads: “The dawn of a new day. May all of our coming sacrifice be worth it.”

Timeline of Jerad since high school

Interview with Amanda's dad

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/chi-las-vegas-shooting-20140609,0,2311132.story

Woodruff minced no words about the wedding.
“I didn’t even want to be there,” he said. “The only reason I was there was because I wanted to walk my daughter down the aisle for the first time. But I puked my head off in the bathroom beforehand because I so didn’t want her to marry him.”
Nor did he want her to move to Las Vegas. At the time, the couple was staying with the Woodruffs after giving up their apartment. Amanda was working at Hobby Lobby and was going to transfer to the Las Vegas store, he said.
“She said there was something out there, some movement she wanted to be a part of,” Woodruff said.
Woodruff said he thought she might have been getting involved in politics. He said he learned on Monday from the FBI that she had lost her job at Hobby Lobby after she did not show up for work because she and her husband had traveled to be part of the standoff between rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management.
“I begged her not to marry him, I begged her not to move to Las Vegas,” Woodruff said “He was into all this Patriot Nation and conspiracy theory stuff, and the next thing I know her phone was getting shut off and she was getting isolated from us.”
“The whole world was against him and he was just, he was just nuts. He got kicked out of his family’s house, they wouldn’t talk to him, it was just that far out,” Woodruff said.
