Sparks Police seeking help finding missing, endangered woman

Sparks officials are asking for your help finding a missing 22-year old woman who was last seen on October 28.

At around 1:40 p.m. on October 31, a report was made to the Sparks Police Department for a missing autistic woman.

22-year old Veronica Genovese was last seen leaving a parking lot near the intersection of N. McCarran Blvd and Victorian Avenue on October 28, around 9:00 p.m.

Police say Veronica Genovese is a 22-year-old autistic woman who left the parking lot near the 200 block of N. McCarran Blvd. earlier Saturday afternoon.

She was last seen wearing white sandals, a grey t-shirt, blue shorts, and carrying a black and white polka dotted blanket. Veronica was last seen walking towards I-80.

She is wearing a band on the ring finger of her left hand. And the document she is holding looks to possibly be a certificate of some type, there's not much showing but could it be a marriage certificate? Washoe County and a couple other counties in NV uses a form that's laid out similarly. Is she married that we know of?

Walking alone towards the interstate sounds bad.
