I would swear it was him if it wasn't for the ears. (and height). Are they covered in the Doe pic? Or are they actually formed like that.

Interestingly, he was thought to have gone to NY too.

On December 26, 1980, Zulfiqar Charania was seen for the last time in Montreal, Quebec. During the time of his disappearance, Zulfiqar lived in Ottawa but was at his sister’s home in Montreal to spend the holidays. When Zulfiqar left Montreal he did so without his suitcase, which was filled with his personal belongings. Zulfiqar had indicated that he intended on travelling to New York in the United States to visit another family member.

As a side note, I found another picture of Zulfiqar that also shows teeth on FB, along with this caption.

"I'm searching for a gay uncle (Zulfikar “Zully” Charania) that went missing in Montreal in 1980 and has not been seen or heard from for the past 40 years. Does anyone have any tips on organizations or resources that may be able to help? Thanks in advance! And thanks Justin Ling for doing such a great job on the Uncover podcast!"

Does this Doe has a cause of death listed anywhere? His gaunt appearance could have been the result of homelessness alone, but if he was gay living in New York in the early nineties then AIDS could have been a facto. That could explain such a low weight, if it's accurate. But a six-inch height difference is hard to reconcile.
