It is very upsetting to hear them (NJ) that we have a "bomber" running around and on the loose.. sounds like a tagline for a movie opening soon

I don't know about a bomb situation but when they blow in a normal use situation it throws stuff in all directions. Blew the curtains off the window. Embedded glass shards. The only reason stuff didn't go further is b/c there were four walls and a ceiling. I'd not go anywhere near the thing. I'm not normally a scary type person but I'd give that thing a wide berth.

Or maybe like NJ it just did not go off. One of the reason why IMO it might be lone wolf, that has not brushed up on his making bombs that explode skill set

The note will probaly this is for ISIS, "terrorist" gets more attn than vilolent crime story, mentally ill person does something etc etc.

Its terrorism its terrorsim it terrorism!!! There are so many more motivations regarding authentic terrorism than someone being violent, or commiting a mass shooting moo

But why would a disgruntled veteran go after other veterans and their families? I can see them going after the government or the top brass. But other injured vets and their families? I don't see the motive there.

1st a white figure walking/running off from the location then a dark figure approach a black thing by the curb. Could be bending over.



The white figure gets faster as you can see with the white bleed behind it. And the black figure runs off in the same direction.

for context of the image and timing.

CNN confirms that it Mayor's office or the Mayor says a video appears to show a person near the explosion but have yet to determine if it is related. 4:30 ish am




The rest of the caps just show those two figures moving away from that area at a fast pace or running. It may be nothing and not related.

On 7th 23rd an EMT witness thought, 'can't be real', walked up to it, cloud of smoke, police on scene immediately, not gas, fire smoke smell/ on CNN 6:00 am

Another witness is remind of the feel of 9/11 and was scared. He ran toward 23rd too and was confronted with people running away. 6:07 ish?

Others rushed in to help the injured, among them a young boy who helps an elder get in ambulance.

24 treated at area hosp, some released, one seriously injured. from Bellvue. Two outside hospital.

Car tilted over half way, a dad blacked out, has a sprained knee (will go back to see extent of damage), head injury, woke up at hospital. Thought of seeing son again. Pregnant woman, has concussion, baby is fine. 6:20 ish

We were just in that vicinity last Saturday at about the same time, which is pretty startling. We didn't go yesterday morning because I knew there would be crowds for the parade.

Actually, the race was delayed because they found an unattended backpack by the start line and an unsuspecting teen came forward to say they mistakenly left it there.

Once the backpack was cleared, the race started. If that person did not accidentally leave their bag behind at the start, the race would have started on time.

Thank you, JerseyGirl, good of you to share. Thank goodness that kid saved the race. We were at the shore few weeks ago, in Asbury Park. You know how it is, one always wants to be down there. Relieved nobody was hurt.
