I hope they don't outlaw pressure cookers!!! I love mine.
If you're never used one...it cuts down cooking time of everything to minutes.

Including the possibilty of your face having a short life span!!

You mean from the pressure cooker?
Mine is electric. They are very different from the stove top ones.

Officials say AKR returned back home after the bombs went off and now they are investigating if anyone in the home knew. But didn't the 5 people caught going to JFK not make them suspicious, why were they released?!?!

I have a stovetop one. The new ones are safer than the ones we remember as kids - where the top blew off! We've used pressure cookers for years and years and never had a problem. And I say "we" meaning that my husband cooks with the pressure cooker. We share cooking duties, but the pressure cooker is all his.

OT, I know. :)

God getting a plane is such a hassle as it is. Showed a video of people streaming out of airport. Some guy goes "BOOM"

you see a older lady passing the camera uttering Not.Funny.

I'm sure they have cell phones with social media. They will see their photo everywhere. I also have seen it on light poles in the city.

I think one can see a blue light of a cell at one point in the breast pocket of the one with the light-brown shirt, so you may be right.

Huh. Strange. His neckline, the t shirt, the way it looks layered, could it be to hide tattoos, or to change out of?

How An American Cleric Inspires Jihad From Beyond The Grave
Anwar al-Awlaki's influence continues in jihadist forums, years after his death

"Vocativ found dozens of channels and pages on social media that still circulate Awlaki’s words on YouTube, have fan pages for him on Facebook and hundreds of posts sharing his messages about jihad and Islam on Instagram.

One of the most popular channels that focuses on him on YouTube includes his lectures on “the meaning of jihad,” “the meaning of Islam,” and “the uniqueness of Shaheed (a martyr).”

A Facebook group named “Generation Awlaki” has more than 2,000 members and says it is “dedicated to the Works & Message of Shaykh Anwar Al Awlaki to keep them alive among the young Generation.”

As New York Breathes Sigh of Relief, Bomb Victims Cope With the Aftermath
By ANNIE CORREAL and SAMANTHA SCHMIDT, NEW YORK TIMES

Sept 22 16, 9:59 pm

One man’s front teeth were knocked out. Another blacked out when his car was hit by the force of the blast. And one woman had to have ball bearings tweezed from her flesh, metal fragments removed from her ear and wood shards extracted from her neck.

But for the victims themselves, the injuries were nothing short of horrific — perhaps not life ending, but certainly life changing. In interviews, they described the shock of the explosion, then the strangeness of returning to daily life while carrying bomb-related injuries, from gashes with stitches to invisible wounds like ringing ears and nightmares.

And while thankful to be alive, they experienced a paradox: One of the worst days of their lives is being referred to by practically everyone else as some kind of stroke of good luck.

Investigators piece together timeline on NY, NJ bombings
By Evan Perez and Shimon Prokupecz, CNN

Correction

In a story and news alert Sept. 20 about the New York-area bombings, The Associated Press erroneously reported how the FBI came in contact with the father of the suspect. The FBI contacted Mohammad Rahami; Rahami didn’t contact the FBI.

There are also new concerns that other family members may have had pro-jihadist views. Site Intelligence Group published Facebook posts allegedly shared by Rahami’s sister Aziza. Some quote radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

In other posts, she appears to praise terrorists, and use imagery popular with the Muslim Brotherhood.

I thought Aziza is his wife.

Snip

Officials say that Aziza Bibi Rahami, whose first name has also been reported as Azia, is not in custody and is not considered a suspect. They say she is a "witness" and she is being accompanied by a U.S. government air marshal on her flight to an East Coast airport.

This article says he has a sister named Aziza, so maybe both his wife and sister have the same name:

The Rahami family is made up of Mohammad snr, 53, his wife, Najiba, two adult sons, Ahmad and Mohammad Qasim, 25, apparently known as Qasim, and two adult daughters, Aziza, and Zobyedh.

more info on the family:

Yes. Thanks. Makes sense. That's probably why she uses Azia. I need more coffee.
