The girl was “happy and cute,” said neighbors, who noted the family moved to the block only a few months ago.

“I see that they are happy. I see the mother loved the girl…and [the father] is a nice guy,” said next door neighbor Gina Khau.

“Sometimes when [the youngster] comes outside with the mom she said, ‘Good morning’ or ‘Hi’ – she was a nice little girl,” said Bui, 60, who said he often saw both parents play with their daughter in the backyard.

Unless the girl had some sort of disability it seems unusual for a 6 year old to accidentally drown in a bathtub. I'm not a parent, or an expert on children, but I'd assume an average 6 year old should be able to hold their head up and out of the water?

Poor child. Did police actually find her still in the bathtub? These cases are often reported as such, but it makes no sense. Family would have removed her from the tub and commenced CPR. Unless....
