so sad that he called 911 twice and nothing really was done. if that was me i would have begged the teachers not to bring me home i would have told someone i cant go home they are abusing me. i would have gone to a friends house and said can i stay for a few days. cps investigated probably the parents acted like nothing was going on coached the boy to lie and cps said nothing is going on

And his murderer is only charged with 2nd degree? WHY IS THAT? Because they don't think he intended to kill him? WRONG! What other intent could you have by tying someone up, gagging them, and then beating them with a rolling pin?
The justice system really doesn't value children's lives as much as they should.

A State Supreme Court jury convicted Mohamud on Oct. 18, 2012, of second-degree murder. Justice Christopher J. Burns sentenced the 42-year-old security guard to the maximum prison term of 25 years to life.
