State police have received more than two dozen leads in their search for a missing Catskill woman, Steven Nevel, public information officer for state police Troop K, said Monday.

Police are not sure if Kenyon is in the area. They are continuing to check surveillance cameras in the Saugerties and Kingston areas, and checking for possible updates from friends and family, to learn if they have heard from her, Nevel said.

"We are continuing to canvass the area, asking people who know her where she might be and where she hung out," Nevel said.

After she was reported missing, police searched the wooded areas around Catskill Commons and reviewed tapes from security cameras. They also searched several areas along Route 23A and Route32 between Walmart and Catskill Motor Court, Nevel said.

This article also states she does not have her vehicle with her, and may be getting rides from others.

This seems to indicate to me that she has a vehicle. Curious where said vehicle is/was when she disappeared. First reference I've noticed regarding her vehicle. JMOO

The story of a woman who was last seen at convenience stores in the Catskills and Hudson Valley and who has missing for more than two weeks is starting to garner national attention.


This week, new information on Alicia Kenyon’s mysterious disappearance and the search for the 29-year-old caught the attention of NBC’s Dateline, who spoke to her family and provided an update on the state police investigation.


Kenyon’s family said they don’t want to speculate on where she may be or why no one has heard from her, they just want to know that she isn't in danger.

Police: Missing Catskill woman found alive and well

Additional info on update

Kenyon was identified after she arrived at a homeless shelter June 17 in Maryland. She told shelter personnel she had been living in a tent in the woods.

Authorities were notified once Kenyon was recognized from media and social media posts. When police arrived, they learned she had been using a different name.

Kenyon stated she was happy; she seemed in good health, and stated she wished to remain in Maryland.
