Amanda King

Amanda King, 28, was last seen on October 16, 2013 at Conifer Park Rehabilitation Center in Glenville, N.Y. When she disappeared her family filed a missing person's report. There have been some alleged sightings of her in Albany, New York, but those haven't been confirmed. Her family states that she has never been gone this long without contact. King is a white female that is 5' 3", and had blonde hair and blue eyes.

Have found a possible match for her, just recently posted on NamUs. Going to call it in once it's appropriate hours, and send it in as well.

Both Amanda and Jane Doe are same hair colour, same eye colour, age range fits. Height fits, weight fits. Only problem is, there is no reference to Amanda King having a tattoo - however she could have got it by January.

Also, Amanda King went missing from a rehab centre (assuming drug problem) - Jane Doe was found after riding the rails, and her overall appearance does indicate a possible drug problem...

Also, in all the photos I've seen, Amanda King smiles with her mouth closed. Maybe hiding the chipped tooth, and the broken tooth that Jane Doe has?

Anyway I could be totally off base, but to me there is definitely a resemblance.


Left a message for Beaver County, and called Glenville as well. Detective Bolle said thank you, and said that they actually already have someone looking at this exact Jane Doe. To be honest I would be surprised if someone wasn't, they match very well and they look an awful lot alike.

Turns out other people have called this one in as well, oops!

Great job on this alllads!! I do very much see the resemblance. I guess we'll see, although the tattoo part bothers me. Given how big it is, I would think that that would be included in the missing person's case details, although as you said, it could have been done after she went missing.

Yes she was - she hadn't been reported missing yet sadly. But identified a while back.

Autopsy is set for today, Nov 7th.

There were sightings of Amanda in Albany throughout November 2013, but she hasn't been seen since. "After a few weeks of not hearing from her, I realized something was wrong," King said. "No matter how bad things got, she'd come back to the house for a day or two"...

Albany police... said Amanda was involved with a rough bunch of people, many of whom also are heroin addicts. The difficulty with dealing with heroin addicts is that they have memory problems, so most interviews yield no answers to her disappearance, police said. They continue to look for her.
