Andrea's mom, brother, and girlfriend were at the hearing today. He might not have been found in the best of circumstances, but he was loved.

And, he didn't deserve what happened to him, ESPECIALLY when these people knew what they were doing was deadly to the johns. They knew!

Prostitute hit with fentanyl charges after 3 NYC men, including Cipriani chef, die of overdoses in seedy motels: feds
It was the second victim's family at the hearing; not Andrea's.

Oh, sorry. Thanks for the correction.

Other families are suffering a loss, too, because of these selfish dolts.

I think we are going to see more of this. The drug & rob has been happening with prostitutes for decades but with relatively benign substances like quaaludes and roofies, etc. Fentanyl is a whole other kettle of fish. The stuff is lethal, and in small doses. If the girls have started using fentanyl for the drug & rob we are in some deep trouble.

Man, talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Poor Andrea.

<modsnip: not victim friendly>

He didn’t deserve to die for the choices he made, but he was a grown man and when you take risks, sometimes bad things happen.

I think it's a pretty harsh punishment to suffer death because of his actions.

Plus, we don't know for sure yet that he knowingly took the drugs. They could've been slipped in a drink to knock him out to then steal from him.

And this woman KNEW what she was doing had already caused the death of two other men. That's not a case of, "oops, I guess a bad choice turned out deadly. Too bad."

RIP, Andrea.

Andrea may not have been a drug user, hence the overdose. It could be that this prostitute routinely drugs customers, then robs them. She may have gotten a bad batch of something, which killed three of them.

Men generally do not report prostitute drug & rob cases to the police. It's surprisingly common.

You are correct - based on the circumstances and the most recent information since I posted this, Andrea indeed may not have been a drug user at all. Wow what a tragic and evil case.

So she allegedly drugged two other clients in July, a week apart, then Andrea, then another client 3 days after him, and all four died as a result.

That's about as cold-blooded as it gets. IMHO.

Is it down already? The link didn't work for me.

Link is still up when I click it. Sometimes other people's FB and Twitter links don't work for me despite working for others. Try searching her on FB and it should definitely pull up....Angelina Berlin (last name not a typo)

An indictment says she is linked to the recent deaths of three men in Queens: A July 4 death at the Airway Inn near LaGuardia, a July 11 death at the Crown Motor Inn in Woodside and the Aug. 21 death at the Kamway Lodge in Elmhurst -- that victim is identified in the court documents as John Doe 3 (Andrea Zamperoni).

Barini told investigators she is a prostitute and that Zamperoni had paid her for sex. She said he was given liquid ecstasy and did not wake up.

Authorities are still looking for others in connection to Zamperoni's death -- including some who Barini says discussed cutting up the chef's body.

When investigators searched the room, they also found a purple liquid, glass pipes, bottles of bleach, a power saw and an empty suitcase.

Authorities say a prostitute linked to the suspected overdose deaths of three men in Queens, including a chef at a popular restaurant in New York's Grand Central Terminal, has been arrested on drug charges.

Angelina Barini was arraigned in Brooklyn federal court Monday on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute one or more substances containing fentanyl.

Another man died at her hands AFTER Andrea?!

She's been caught and charged....but the supplier of these deadly drugs needs to be found and stopped (and charged, of course!). ASAP.
