Missing Nassau Man Was Last Seen Leaving Hospital

Nassau police are searching for a missing Freeport man, and they're seeking the public's help to find him.

According to police, Anthony Schlechter, 70, was last seen after he was discharged from Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. Schlechter suffers from a cognitive disorder.

He is a white man, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 160 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. Police did not have a clothing description for him.



Anyone with information on Schlechter's whereabouts is asked to call the Missing Person squad at 516-573-7374, or call 911.

Can't find any updates on this gentleman past the original missing notifications. He's not listed on NAMUS or Charley. I also checked for unidentifieds in NY but nothing matched the description here.
