I just pre-ordered 10 GPS watches for my family and my friends. I told my Uncle that I will velco the watch on my aunts house coat somehow because she keeps trying to leave her apartment. I think my granddaughter will love it.

Its 35.00 dollars each, comes in colors. I really need a computer but I'll hold out for now. See mybuddytag.com.

The article is gone, but the link is till on google. Tim Miller basically said that NYPD had things pretty well covered and they had nothing they could add to the search. I suppose the ATV's and Horses are more useful in wooded locations. Not so much in the city...

I really feel like TES isn't having success lately with getting LE on board with there search efforts. First Bryce's case they turned down because of LE and now Avonte. There sonar could be super helpful for the river even if the other things like horseback aren't useful in this type of area. Just typing out using sonar brings wrinkles to my forehead and tears to my eyes but it has to be done.

I just pray that one of the good people in this world have him for once. That someone noticed he was autisitic and is caring for him thinking he was homeless. I know its really unlikely but I've done it for animals before. Had them checked for microchips and then held on to them while trying to track down there owners. I'm very anti kill shelters. So this tiny part of me hopes they just assumed someone abandoned him and are trying to keep him out of the foster system. I know it's unlikely....

However I also think that a predator is unlikely as well. He doesn't make good prey. Its horrible to say but captors enjoy the game and feed on fear. Since he isn't verbal the game wouldn't be exciting for them. Again its possible but unlikely in my mind.

Which brings me to either river or someone picked him up and doesn't realize he's the missing boy. Psych hospitals hopefully were all checked in case he was acting violently, especially if a stranger may have touched him and surprised him.

They said he would try to go get food.So the sighting at the grocery store and he couldn't pay for the food might be real and him.Does any one know any more on that lead and can tell me more about it.Where they thought he was ect... I'm hoping and praying he is getting food or trying to and he is getting shelter somewhere and someone will recognize him and call LE.He might be alone.I don't want to give up hope or on him that he is still alive and will be ok.

I hope that is the case too. Once he did not turn up right away, I began to think along those same lines and hope that some kind person that means no harm happens to have found him, and they may not realize he is a missing child. If a person took him in to care for him, that specific person may not be all "mentally together" themselves and also they could be out of touch with the news. Believe it or not, there are still a lot of people that dont watch the news or watch TV even. Especially in a big city like NY, you have all kinds of people that live there.

Most people would think to call LE if they found a child, but there is a very small percentage of people that would maybe just want to keep caring for the child as their own. Especially if the person that found him was somewhat "out of touch" with things. Thinking along the lines of maybe even a senile older person that maybe doesnt watch TV at all.

If he is with someone like this, the good news would be that somebody would hopefully finally spot the boy with that person, and some other person would know to call LE. This is because most people like that would be known to the neighborhood, and if all of a sudden there is a new boy with this person, the other neighborhood folk would know to call LE. The only thing important is hopefully he could be spotted and not kept indoors by this person all the time. Sooner or later someone would hopefully somehow spot the boy and notify authorities.

I hope he is found soon.

I have been away for a week and just came in expecting to see Avonte found. How can he still be missing??? and no trace of him.

I wondering if he could open up a car door, got in but could open it to get out. Wondering if there are abandon cars around the area or a car with several parking tickets on it and he is inside.

Or a car trunk. Can't count how many times that has happened just these past several months. :banghead:
