I'm not sure if this is what Plumeria is referring to, but there's a tweet from Holly Robinson Peete from 7 hours ago saying that the search has been called off and the family has been told to shut down the command post and leave. Then Danny replied by thanking her for everything she has done for his family.

I think this was a planned scale back of resources. Danny just replied to HR Peete that only the NYPD has left and that his tents and command post are still there.

I also found this article from 2 days ago:

NYPD May Reduce Cops Searching For Missing Boy Avonte Oquendo

"We'll have to make adjustments as far as the deployment of the amount of resources that we have. We'll do that some time during the week if we're unsuccessful. Obviously we ask for the public's help with any information at all."

Kelly also said the NYPD has interviewed “virtually everyone in the sex offender registry” as well as anyone who has an arrest record involving the abuse of a child under the age of 16.

Despite receiving over 200 tips, there have been no credible sightings, Kelly said.

Avonte’s brother, Daniel Detrick Oquendo, left the city today to return to his home in Orlando, Fla. He posted an Instagram video on his Tumblr asking people to continue searching for his little brother.

I have a nasty feeling that the boy ran into the river that located near the school. He would of drowned and his body would floated away into the atlantic

Does anyone know exactly where this 'marshy area' is? I can't get a fix on it, I heard they went back to search it with thermal imaging cameras.
