Drone footage from raid on Pedo Island. This "Rusty Shackleford" character has some pretty big kahunas!!

Oh my gosh, I was laughing so hard watching this. I wonder if Home Depot paid for a product placement for their boxes used as a barrier in the windows. Also, at the end, I was thinking he was about to fly into that open door.

Accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's estate is being sued under the Child Victims Act.

It's the first case against his estate under the law, and it was filed by a woman who says Epstein raped her when she was a teenager.

My guess is that the cameras showing the area around JE's cell weren't working, but the cameras focused on the officers' station were working. So images of the officers sleeping through their shift are visible for the times they were supposed to check on JE.

It was either the perfect storm of cameras working/not working....or a set up. imo

I believe there are cameras throughout the jail facility, just not pointed at all or individual cells or within the small cells themselves. And the cells don’t have bars, rather a door with a rectangle hatch. So I assume they know and can see if officers went into a particular area (or not). Hence their claiming log falsification. I feel there has probably been a lot of incompetence happening in that facility for a long time. It just happens that this time, it had dire consequences. It’s amazing they haven’t had more regular, serious incidents occurring, or at least that we hear about. It’s always just a matter of time, when protocols aren’t followed, that something will happen.

Jeffrey Epstein was worth an estimated $559 million, yet may have paid little in the way of personal income taxes.

The now-deceased financier, accused of sexually assaulting and trafficking girls as young as 14, had more than $179 million in assets from real estate, including a New Mexico ranch, a home in Palm Beach, a residence in Paris and a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands — Little St. James.

The Virgin Islands has its own system based on the tax laws and rates that apply in the U.S., according to the IRS, yet some tax-incentive programs there also make it possible for residents to reduce their federal income tax liability by as much as 90%.

“Epstein, if he didn’t spend more than 183 days in the U.S., could take advantage of being a resident in the Virgin Islands and possibly reduced his tax liability,” said Timothy Speiss, a CPA and partner in the personal wealth advisors practice of EisnerAmper LLP.

Claiming residency in a low- or no-tax jurisdiction typically means spending 183 days a year there, for starters, and, according to reports, Epstein changed his residence to his Virgin Islands estate nearly a decade ago.

Here's why Jeffrey Epstein likely paid little in the way of taxes

Americans aren’t buying that disgraced financier and convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in jail last weekend.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 29% of American Adults believe Epstein actually committed suicide while in jail. Forty-two percent (42%) think Epstein was murdered to prevent him from testifying against powerful people with whom he associated. A sizable 29% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Sixty-seven percent (67%) say they have closely followed news reports about Epstein, with 25% who have followed Very Closely.

Among Americans who have been following the story Very Closely, 56% say Epstein was murdered

I recall reading in yesterday's coverage that JE flew to Massachusetts on occasion. Not sure there is a connection, but something to think about.

And from the DM article about the house where she is staying, bbm

"The property is owned by tech CEO and maritime academic Dr Scott Borgerson."

I wonder if he worked with her to set up her website for her (imo fake) organization about the ocean.

pondering, thinking aloud, jmo

Just saw several of the victims attys giving interviews from the Vineyard saying
they couldn't wait to find her
so close...
And in the USA, whew. I worried she would be in a country were the US Feds couldn't get her back here.

Fingers crossed that LE is prepared to make charges and apprehend her.

Government watchdog group Judicial Watch is seeking some answers as it launches its own investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s death.

One America’s John Hines caught up with the group’s president, Tom Fitton, who said the circumstances of Epstein’s death look like another scandal for the Department of Justice.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged accomplice accused of helping recruit and groom dozens of underage girls for the billionaire pedophile, has reportedly been located — and she’s not far from New York City, where Epstein died by apparent suicide in his jail cell on August 10.

With Epstein no longer alive to face charges, attention has turned even more urgently to Maxwell, and to Epstein’s other employees who victims say helped facilitate his crimes. Maxwell, a former girlfriend of Epstein’s who became his confidant, has been accused by several of Epstein’s victims of enabling him to meet with underage girls for sex in what amounted to a trafficking ring. She has also been accused of threatening victims with measures like withholding passports and phones. On Wednesday, one of Epstein’s alleged victims became the first to sue Epstein’s estate and his accomplices — presumably including Maxwell — under New York’s brand-new Child Victim’s Act.

Maxwell, a former fixture in elite social circles, hasn’t been seen publicly in three years, adding to media speculation that she could be living abroad. The Daily Mail reports that, finally, she’s been located, in the Massachusetts seaside town of Manchester-by-the-Sea. She is supposedly living with her boyfriend, Scott Borgerson, 43, a tech CEO who owns a company called Cargometrics, described as “an investment management firm that specializes in analyzing data on global shipping.”
