I’ve never seen a U.S. attorney general behave in such an unprofessional manner. She’s refusing to answer questions from a member of the U.S. Senate, an equal branch of government that’s investigating criminal activity of a heinous nature.

Not sure where this latest burst of public and political pressure will lead, if anywhere, but plenty at stake here for survivors of JE specifically and more generally, IMO.
I know that in my case, whilst the main perpetrator had passed away before any action was taken, discussion of the crimes and the safeguarding protocols that might have prevented or mitigated them felt enormously important for those of us impacted.
