Do we have a separate thread for Mandelson? Now arrested.

I think the Mandelscandal is over on the Epstein thread.

In a strange way this does make me rather proud to be British. We have now arrested the King's brother and somebody who was the right hand man to two Prime Ministers over their connections to Epstein. I know the Norwegians have arrested their former Prime Minister, but how many of the rich and powerful in certain other countries have felt the long arm of the law over Epstein?

Lord Mandelson has not publicly commented in recent weeks on the Epstein files, but the BBC understands his position is he has not acted in any way criminally and that he was not motivated by financial gain.
Lord Mandelson was seen being led away from his home in Camden, north London on Monday afternoon.
He was seen being escorted from his house by plain clothes police officers and put in the back of an unmarked car.

Mandelson has been arrested for misconduct according to twitter, I refer to him as Mandy, so posts in future may discuss Mandy

Thanks., I didn't want to take this thread off topic but I hadn't seen the Epstein thread. Will head over there.
Oh no I did my first broken quote, will report it to the mods to get it removed before it causes them too much work.

Jeffrey Epstein was the subject of a previously undisclosed U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency investigation — a five-year-plus probe targeting him and 14 other individuals for suspicious money transfers possibly linked to illegal narcotics, a newly uncovered document in the Department of Justice's Epstein files reveals.

"DEA reporting indicates the above individuals are involved in illegitimate wire transfers which are tied to illicit drug and/or prostitution activities occurring in the U.S. Virgin Islands and New York City," the 2015 document says.

The 69-page memo is marked "law enforcement sensitive" and remains heavily redacted, concealing the names of the 14 other targets…

Sen. Ron Wyden, a Democrat from Oregon who has been pursuing the Epstein investigation as ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, told CBS News that following the money is key to learning more about Epstein's crimes.

"It appears Epstein was involved in criminal activity that went way beyond pedophilia and sex trafficking, which makes it even more outrageous that Pam Bondi is sitting on several million unreleased files." Wyden said.

Neither the DEA or the DOJ responded to requests by CBS News for more information or comment.

Just release ALL the files and let the BIG boy and Big girls WORLDWIDE deal with it! We might take a second to take a deep breath to steady ourselves after seeing ALL the files AND NAMES, but deal with it we will! Just please, let's get this done and over with, so everyone, particularly the survivors, can move forward.

The Justice Department has withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor, an NPR investigation finds. It also removed some documents from the public database where accusations against Jeffrey Epstein also mention Trump

Former Gov. Bob Kerrey resigned from Monolith's board after Justice Department emails showed past contact with Jeffrey Epstein.

Days after Norwegian police launched a corruption probe linked to Epstein files and searched his properties, former Prime Minister of Norway, Thorbjorn Jagland, was admitted to hospital following an alleged suicide attempt, reported Faytuks Network on Tuesday.

According to the documents released by the US Justice Department, Jagland and members of his family allegedly vacationed at convicted sex offender and late financier Jeffrey Epstein’s residences between 2011 and 2018.

Days after Norwegian police launched a corruption probe linked to Epstein files and searched his properties, former Prime Minister of Norway, Thorbjorn Jagland, was admitted to hospital following an alleged suicide attempt, APA reports, citing Faytuks Network.

According to the documents released by the US Justice Department, Jagland and members of his family allegedly vacationed at convicted sex offender and late financier Jeffrey Epstein’s residences between 2011 and 2018.

Following this, the Norwegian authorities initiated a corruption probe against him and searched his properties. The investigators reportedly took out some boxes from his residence in Oslo.

The Okokrim economic crimes unit, which is investigating Jagland, confirmed the raids and said that the former Prime Minister is being suspected for “aggravated corruption”..

Understandably, everyone is claiming some version of "I am so ashamed of spending time with Epstein but I didn't do anything wrong myself".

Virginia Giuffre spoke of the scientists (plural) that she had to service for Epstein. Who were they (other than Marvin Minsky, allegedly)?

"But others, it was as if I'd preserved their faces in an airtight vault in my head - one that had been waiting to be unlocked. The former governor of a Western state. A respected US senator. And so many scientists. As I have said, usually when I was trafficked to these men, Epstein didn't introduce us or tell me their names or their titles .... when a man has been on top of you, his face inches from your own, you remember him .... his face stays in your mind, even when you wish it wouldn't."

The names Massie read aloud were Leon Black, Jes Staley and Leslie Wexner.

“You don’t even have to read past the redactions to see that this man needs to be investigated,” Massie said on the House floor, referencing Black.

“Jes Staley, accused of terrible things,” Massie said. “It’s right there in the files. Why is he not being investigated?

And Leslie Wexner, why did the FBI list him as a co-conspirator in their own documents in a child sex trafficking case and then tell him, according to him, that they had no questions for him?”

Guessing the western state governor is former New Mexico Bill Richardson
