I really hope this lawyer is successful for Epstein’s victims. I lost faith in her after the Kathy Griffin fiasco.

I don’t suppose his brother has enough integrity to put a (large) portion of that money in an escrow account to be used for settlements. No, I didn’t think so.

Jeffrey Epstein, my very, very sick pal
A very weird interview with Stuart Pivar about Epstein, his science parties, his “pathology,” and the industrial scale of it all.

Let’s put it this way. What’s the difference between the punishment which befalls a murderer and a serial murderer? It’s the same. If Jeffrey Epstein was found guilty of fooling around with one 16-year-old trollop, nobody would pay any attention. The trouble is, what he did was quantitative and not qualitative.
What Jeffrey did is nothing in comparison to the rapes and the forceful things, which people did. Jeffrey had to do with a bunch of women who were totally complicit. For years, they went, came there time and time and time again. And if there was only one of them who did it, no one would have noticed—except he made an industry out of it. And why did he make an industry out of it? Because Jeffrey was a very, very, very sick man. For some reason that doesn’t get understood.

.........He did stuff with underage girls who knew what the hell they were doing. By the hundreds. If he only did one, no one would pay attention. Nor, on the other hand, did he actually rape any of them or anything like that, which happens, you know. If you want to make a list of, let us say, in the past several years, of the kind of stuff going on of sexual abuse of children and what the hell not—you want to compare that with what Jeffrey did? What Jeffrey did in comparison with the kind of stuff which gets exposed every day of people who are abusing children left and right and all kinds of institutions? Jeffrey never did anything like that. Everything he had to do with these girls was complicit. And it was just interesting to the rest of the world who doesn’t understand that Jeffrey was a very sick man. He had a case of what is called satyriasis. Did you hear of that?

In a statement, Andrew said: 'It is apparent to me since the suicide of Mr Epstein that there has been an immense amount of media speculation about so much in his life.

'This is particularly the case in relation to my former association or friendship with Mr Epstein.

Therefore I am eager to clarify the facts to avoid further speculation.

'I met Mr Epstein in 1999. During the time I knew him, I saw him infrequently and probably no more than only once or twice a year. I have stayed in a number of his residences.

'At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction.

'I have said previously that it was a mistake and an error to see him after his release in 2010 and I can only reiterate my regret that I was mistaken to think that what I thought I knew of him was evidently not the real person, given what we now know.

'I have tremendous sympathy for all those affected by his actions and behaviour.

'His suicide has left many unanswered questions and I acknowledge and sympathise with everyone who has been affected and wants some form of closure.

'This is a difficult time for everyone involved and I am at a loss to be able to understand or explain Mr Epstein's lifestyle.

He added: 'I deplore the exploitation of any human being and would not condone, participate in, or encourage any such behaviour.'

A 16 year old boy participating in sex with a 40+ year old woman would never be refered to as a "trollop" with all it's very negative connotations about intent and lack of morals of the young person.

Demonizing your victim is such a very classic trait of a narcissist. It's never your fault.

What Stuart Piver said is allowed because of the 1st Amendment of the Constiutuion, but it is absolutely evil. We cannot allow abuse of young people, male or female, to occur because of the manipulative words of evil people

I thought it was a very interesting interview...as long as I kept in mind that Piver is an 89 year old man who kept repeating himself and had very little filter. He clearly is not up to speed about the age of consent and abuse of power, but neither are many people (men and women) half his age. It’s disgusting to speak of a “16 year old trollope” but I can cut him more slack than younger ones and attorneys with that attitude.

I think he had a unique, and possibly accurate, insight into JE. But sick with satyriasis or not, JE did tremendous damage and it can’t be excused. JE used his money and his charm to manipulate young girls and adult scientists among others. He needed to be locked up away from people a long time ago. Unfortunately, his flying monkeys will still be hurting his victims for years to come. Sadly, Piver just became one of JE’s flying monkey with this interview, despite having the good sense to end his friendship with JE years ago.

Stuart Piver filed suit against his attorney in June, claiming he was tricked. Between this and the Mother Jones interview, perhaps Piver’s family needs to reel him in...if that’s possible. He’s kind of a sitting duck IMO. Personally, I think the Mother Jones reporter was out of line interviewing Piver or publishing it once it was pretty clear Piver wished he hadn’t spoken.

An 88-year-old New York collector is suing a Philadelphia lawyer for allegedly tricking him into selling a Constantin Brancusi bronze for just $100,000, far less than what he claims it is worth. Stuart Pivar alleges that the layer, John McFadden, said he would help sell the work to the Philadelphia Museum of Art or to Christie’s auction house, but instead cheated him, essentially stealing the prized sculpture.

A Lawyer Allegedly Convinced His Elderly Client to Sell Him a Brancusi for a Pittance. Now, the Collector Is Suing Him for $200 Million

Epstein’s death, Bloom says, meant the women “were denied accountability in the criminal justice system. But we still have an opportunity in the civil system, and that is to demand full and fair compensation for his victims from his estate.”

Money, she said, “is a good measure of justice in many ways”.

“It makes a big difference. It’s a deterrent for people who do bad things and it can help victims get therapy, pay medical bills, go back to school, pay off debt and start a new life. It’s very meaningful to to them.”

Just a bunch of wealthy perverts who think they are special and unique because of their wealth and intelligence. They are just perverts who have the means to exploit more people and tell themselves they are contributing to the world in a positive way.

Empty words andy.

Because the “girls” Were there to service jp&friends and didn’t appear to be there forcibly or were under duress does not mean that what you had done was OK andy.

Every word he spoke is true yet he knows he is guilty. Jmo

A 16yo "trollop" is so offensive to read. These were girls in high school who were targeted and LURED. They were not "trollops" on the prowl for older men to exploit. The girls were the exploited ones. The tables must not be turned and the narrative changed so the perpetrators are now the victims! No gaslighting allowed.

I can't even believe the word trollop was used in this case.

He is already a multi-millionaire on his own and doesn’t need a penny of that money which makes it even more sickening.

Very carefully crafted and very sadly, released on the letterhead of Buckinham Palace.

He comes off as a privileged toff, with some sort of attention deficit that blinded him to underaged girls swirling in and out around him in all sorts of properties. Girls who were just slightly older than his own children.

Honestly. He should fly to the US and set up a long series of interviews with the FBI.

This puff piece will not restore any honor to him or to the royal family that is sheltering him. It only emphasizes that he is protected and unaccountable.

Prince Andrew reportedly whinged at how unfair his life is:

Prince Andrew whinged ‘Prince Albert of Monaco does what he wants but I get in big trouble’ during moan at paedo pal Jeffrey Epstein’s £63 million mansion

He’s loathsome and crude

And very unfortunately too close to the throne of the UK
Disgusting, back in the day they were called Dirty Old Men.
They came to the belief this is acceptable, I guess because they have money, power, and a lot of Viagra.

Narcissists of a feather flock together IMO.
My take on him... he is an aging Narsisst himself.
I do think you are spot on about him repeating himself - it’s like a story he believes and replays in his aging ego head to justify his participation with a (unmasked) fellow Narc.
He spoke of those girls like they were inanimate objects, appliances.
That’s Narc talk.
