Though the name of Epstein’s texting partner is redacted in the documents, time-stamps on the text messages matched up with video from the hearing, as well as the messages’ contents, appear to indicate that Epstein was texting with Del. Stacey Plaskett, a Democrat who represents the U.S. Virgin Islands as its nonvoting delegate in the House of Representatives.

Reached by phone Thursday, Plaskett declined to answer questions about the text messages and directed all inquiries to her congressional staff. Plaskett’s chief of staff, Angeline Jabbar, said Thursday she was “not in a position to confirm or not” whether the congresswoman was texting with Epstein at the hearing.

Sorry, Blanche. Caught. Again..
People know the evil things Maxwell did, the crimes she committed, the huge number of victims! Does Blanche have a conscience? Can he hide from his neighbors whether or not he thinks he's bound for hell?

BTW I recommend "Perversion of Justice", a book by Julie K. Brown, and Chapter 4 covers some of (NYT) Landon Thomas Jr's puff pieces. Thomas and Epstein emailing back and forth is in the released emails too. Keep in mind Epstein didn't just pay off reporters so that when he went out to a restaurant or something, staff might be slightly less inclined to presume he was evil.

It's more the other way around IMO. He wanted those he had dirt on to see the articles like the one I link below, and take it as a sign he could get ANYTHING printed.

BTW let's have a little contest and try to guess why JEE used [email protected], or why include vacation. Best guess wins!
Check the last paragraph here...

Financier Starts Sentence in Prostitution Case
By Landon Thomas Jr. (NYT)
"Epstein has changed his e-mail address to alert people that he will be unavailable for the next 18 months. The new address indicates he is “on vacation.”

tl/dr... Epstein's euphemism for "in jail"

"The US House of Representatives has voted to force Justice officials to release documents relating to the investigation of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The bill will now go to the Senate, which could make amendments or bring it to a vote."

Trump will either veto it or the DOJ/Blondi will refuse because she can’t release them because there’s now an open case investigating Democrats. Trump set this up so they won’t be released, thanks to his clever attorneys. I hope I’m wrong.

A French branch of HSBC closed a bank account maintained by Jeffrey Epstein in 2007 after compliance officers flagged transactions for suspicious activity, including payments tied to a modeling agent later accused of rape & sex traffickingThe previously unreported closure, which HSBC officials announced to Epstein in a letter dated Dec. 21, 2007, is the only known instance of a major bank closing one of his accounts before he pleaded guilty to sex offenses in Fla. in 2008.

An HSBC spokesman declined to comment. But two people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg that the bank closed Epstein’s account because employees in its compliance department raised red flags. Their concerns included financial transactions involving young women associated with the French modeling agency MC2 and its owner, Jean-Luc Brunel…

"According to the attorneys' filing, the House Oversight release included the unredacted names and personal information of dozens of victims, including women who were minors at the time of their abuse.

One document alone contained 28 unredacted names of alleged victims, the attorneys wrote.

Based on the scope of the issue, the attorneys said that they believe the DOJ either "does not know the identities of all the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and thus cannot apply proper redactions to the files," or "is intentionally failing to protect victims from public exposure." "

I find it mind blowing that Virginia who had access to lawyers for years and got millions from lawsuits that she never made out a will, especially to protect her children should she unexpectedly die.
She didn't even make a will when separated from her husband.
I want to believe that at least one of her lawyers told her a will is needed and it was she that refused for whatever reasons.

Also why didn't she name all names and to be released after her death whenever that may be?
imo

She didn't even make a will when separated from her husband.
I want to believe that at least one of her lawyers told her a will is needed and it was she that refused for whatever reasons.

I was reading a bit about this yesterday. Virginia's sons are claiming there was no will, but Virginia's lawyers have Virginia's wishes in written form (from Virginia) and were instructed to start preparing a will from that.

And apparently there is a law in Western Australia that allows for that - as a will.

Documents tendered in court reveal that in the weeks before her death in April, Giuffre wrote a will and contacted her lawyer, Karrie Louden, to have it prepared.
But she died on a small Western Australian farm, 80km north of Perth, before signing or having the document witnessed – leaving the estate officially intestate.

Louden and Myers’ counterclaim argues the court should recognise verbal and written instructions they received as an “informal will”, which under WA law allows certain documents or notes to be validated as expressing a person’s intentions for their estate.

NEW YORK, Dec 5 (Reuters) - A Florida federal judge on Friday cleared the Justice Department to release grand jury transcripts from its sex trafficking case against Jeffrey Epstein, which could shed light on the deceased financier's ties to rich and powerful people including President Donald Trump.
The Justice Department asked U.S. District Judge Rodney Smith to unseal the records after the Republican-controlled Congress passed a bill requiring the Attorney General to release all unclassified files related to its investigations of Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is in prison for sex trafficking.
