Endwell Man Still Missing Five Months Later

I am local to the area, and although I can't provide MSM documentation of this man's drug and criminal history, I can give some insight regarding his last known whereabouts. At the intersection of Routes 38B & 26 there is a small group of apartments were finally condemned last year. One of the buildings appears to still have tenants, but the other buildings have notices on the doors and windows, and are obviously empty. The apartments have always had a reputation for housing those at rock bottom, drug dealers, parolees, and sex offenders. In the 1980s it was a sure place to buy cocaine and in the past few years it was known as a place to find heroin and meth. It's always been a flophouse of sorts with people coming and going and no landlord on site to keep things in check.

Our neck of the woods is presently struggling (along with the rest of the country) with a full-blown opiate/meth epidemic. It's so bad that recently EMTs were unable to transport my friend's 96-year old mother-in-law to the emergency room for a broken wrist because all FOUR area hospitals were overrun with overdoses from a batch of heroin cut with fentanyl. It's hard to wrap your head around, and the EMTs I know are being run ragged responding to overdose calls.

MOO would be that he has either left the state or succumbed to an overdose and his remains haven't been discovered as of yet. Both are extremely common scenarios in this area. NY weather isn't the most hospitable if you're homeless, and frequently addicts make their way south for the colder months and return in the Spring. Hopefully he is located so that his family can find some resolution.

Do you think he would have made his way to the Ithaca area?

I'm sorry, I meant to refer to USAPeopleFinder's quote and didn't hit the reply button first...

Definitely a possibility. Is there a reason you think Ithaca?

I see a lot of people involved in that lifestyle moving back and forth between the Ithaca and Binghamton areas, same thing with Ithaca/Elmira areas. If it's a possibility, Brandon's family may want to contact some of the outreach programs in that area to see if he is/was there.

I am familiar with this situation, Brandon is a friend of mine.

Snipped by me...

I'm sorry that your friend is missing, it must be very stressful for you to not know whether he is safe. Hopefully his ex-girlfriend will share what she knows with someone who will in turn pass along that knowledge to authorities or his family.

It’s a halfway spot from his house to normal civilization basically. Thank you though.

Thank you, someone had indicated he was dropped off at the gas station, not the apartment buildings. I had just made the assumption based on the troubles he was experiencing, and I'm glad that I was wrong and he wasn't holed up in that place. I really hope that someone comes forward and he is found.

Whoops, looks like you responded to my post instead of Stacy41. It looks like Stacy41 isn't active on here anymore?
