I really thought Desoto County Jane Doe may have been Brenda. Jane Doe was just ID'd as Lorie Pennell. Happy she's been identified, but we'll have to keep looking for Brenda.

I read on the web that Theresa abused her children as she was apparently jealous of her daughters...she also struggled with alcoholism...
Brenda's sisters when questioned would later recall how Theresa accused them of wanting her boyfriend or "man" at the time...due to the large amount of child abuse, all of Brenda's siblings ran away at some point and all returned, all of them except Brenda...investigators believe she ran away from home and decided not to return..after her disappearance, Theresa claimed she filed a missing persons report with the police but it turned out to be false she never did the report her sister filed it in the 90's

we really failed as a society by allowing these events..a child who desperately needed help surely died murdered and raped...wherever you are and whatever happened to you..
