Sorry I just wanted a second opinion on his face before I made a comparison. The mole looks to be a few mm's away from eachother.

I think you linked the wrong missing person’s NamUs page by accident. It doesn’t link to JRG.
I’m not sure when I compare their faces but then I think Jesus’s picture might not be a recent one form when he went missing. If it is a recent one, I cannot really match them because the UID was clearly balding and imo the UID looks very much like an african american male. But the vitals definitely match up!

@Nate_Bro Did you ever submit Mr. Galindo? I especially notice the strong similarity of the eyebrows.

Gosh you guys after viewing the actual post morten i am afraid that reconstruction IMOO more dominant African american features than Asian/Hispanic. He isnt black in my opinion JUST based on visual- the post mortem. Maybe admixture but? What do you guys think? If I saw that photo Idk if I would connect it with the man in the postmortem photo. But now- I could NOT do a better job so I know my opinion is just that- opinion. Im always amazed by the work they do for UIDs In their reconstructions.
Is there a profile photo?

When the medical examiners try to determine race, they rely on a lot of skeletal and dental markers, not just appearance. Also, race is a very vague concept and most of what they think they know is based on probabilities, and so many people from all parts of the world have diverse ancestry. It can be very hard to make more than a guess.

But I'm not sure what you mean that you think the reconstruction makes him look too African. It looks to me like a very accurate representation of the post-mortem. Are there particular features you think are wrong?

I have to agree with Coffeanacig that he is Caribbean. Perhaps the blanket purchases he sent back home.

This case has been one of my pet cases for a while now. It is absolutely sad his case does not get that much attention.

Bumping.

I don't know what it is about this guy, but there's something about this whole thing that bothers me a lot. He seems to be well-dressed and conscious of his appearance, perhaps a man with some means, he goes to some other town to kill himself on some nice blankets and no one misses him? I know there was no ID on him but he seems like a guy someone would miss in their lives. It's tragic that either he didn't have that person in his life or those people are looking for him and don't have the tools to find him.
