Police say that human remains have been found just off the Hutchinson River Parkway, prompting officials to search through a heavily wooded area.
They say a human skull was found in a wooded area by construction workers who were working Friday and made the discovery.
Authorities on the scene searched with flashlights and zoned in on the area where they put up a blue tent and started digging.
According to police, they found evidence in more than one area they were canvassing.
