New Lots Ave. appears to be the terminus of the 3 train (red line) so she feasibly could be from anywhere in those areas.

I wonder what she was doing during those two years.

She was listed on NamUs as MP75088 and her profile was removed on February 13, 2023. I am curious about her name, on NamUs it was spelled Thecla too, and I found what seems to be a marriage record for THECLA I. CARTY and STRAUGHN, G from 1986 in Manhattan, NY which might be her. The missing report @victoriarobinson642 found has her name spelled Thecia, which sounds better to me, as I’ve never heard the name Thecla before. I did find quite a few Theclas now, so it’s not that unusual of a name.

Oh how interesting. Thecla is an unusual name in the US. It is Greek and a saint name. I am not sure it is even very common anywhere to be honest. I am assuming her name is indeed Thecla and the missing person's report had not heard of the name and mixed up the lowercase "l" with and "I". Her Find-a-grave lists her as Thecla as well as that marriage certificate.
