Wondering how long the UID male was in the water before he was discovered?

Bumping. His Namus page was updated on May 6, 2024. Though I can't tell what the change was.

Artistic renderings of the socks, a woven bracelet, and other bracelets the individual was wearing.

What about Maynor Jember Lopez-Castro?

Maynor's stats that match are:
Biological sex: Male
Ethnicity: Hispanic/Latino
Age: 16
Weight: 135–140 lbs.
Hair color: Black
Hair description: straight

Maynor disappeared after leaving his high school in Morristown, NJ, which is only 35 miles away from New York City. He could've easily boarded a bus and been in NYC in about 2 hours. Alternatively, could he have entered the water from the NJ side and simply washed up in Red Hook, Brooklyn? I don't know what the currents are like.

Stats that are questionable are:
Height: 5'5"–5'7"
Date last seen: January 3, 2020

However, Maynor's height seems to be an estimate so it could be wrong. The decedent's measurement could also be off. In addition, Maynor was last seen over a year prior, but the decedent has no PMI so who knows how long he was in the water for.
