I've never seen a tattoo like the one on his back before. Can anyone think why someone would get a tattoo of all the numbers from 1-69 and then 1-26?

I wondered if he could be counting off something (such as keeping track of sobriety if he's a recovering addict - 69 months/days sober, then a relapse, then starting again from 1), but the first line of numbers doesn't look more faded than the last ones so I think all the numbers were tattooed at close to the same time.

Most of those tattoos on your Google Image search make more sense to me - they're significant numbers like birthdates of the person or their loved ones, or a single number like "27", maybe the person's lucky number. But why get a tattoo of all the numbers 1-69 and 1-26 in sequence?

This NamUs page is no longer active, so this man has likely been identified, although I can't find any news coverage about him. Hoping he is now returned to his family and they have closure.
