Police look for missing 13-year-old girl -

BUFFALO, NY -

Buffalo Police are reaching out to the public to help locate a missing teen. Police say Carmen Acosta,13, was last seen April 11. She is 4'8" tall, and weighs about 100 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes.

I can only hope and assume that there's a good reason why she's been missing for almost 2 weeks and we're just now hearing about her.

wow----not giving us much to go on!!!! Am curious too--is considered a runaway yet its hitting the news now? Is it habit for Carmen to runaway? Did she leave a note or was there and event prior to her leaving? Who saw her last? Who last had contact with her?
Will assume her computer has been checked, and her phone records, teachers and students/friends at her school.
Does she have money on her person? Enough for a bus ticket or train ticket? She would need ID for a plane ticket and to get into Canada.
Does she have her phone? Pings can be checked--and what about extra clothes and toiletries?

Nothing about the TIME she was last seen---and no coat? Its still cold out esp. up in Buffalo.
