Labar is described as a white male who is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 140 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Police say Labar has the name "Chester" tattooed on the left side of his neck.

"He has enemies. He does slightly have a drug problem," Labar said.

On Sep. 30, Genie says she was trying her best to get a hold of her son. When he didn't answer her phone call, she went to his apartment.
"When I got there, his key was laying on his refrigerator and I was walking around. Good thing I was there because I found a candle lit in his bedroom," Labar said.
She noticed his two dogs were missing as well. All these were bad signs to Genie. She called her daughter in Elmira to meet her at his apartment.
"Me and my mom both left a note in the apartment just saying, 'Please contact us. We are worried about you.' Then we had waited 24 hours before we contacted the police," Cady said.

Family pleads to find missing Johnson City man

Johnson City Police day Labar is a 37-year old man from Johnson City. According to JCPD, he was last seen on Oct. 2.
Labar's mother, Genie Labar, and her daughter Amanda Cady are hoping for the best when it comes to their loved one.
On Sep. 30, Genie says she was trying her best to get a hold of her son. When he didn't answer her phone call, she went to his apartment.
