http://www.adirondackdailyenterpris...-who-may-be-armed-and-dangerous.html?nav=5008

Not saying this is related, but it is quite a strange coincidence that there are two major stories coming out of such a small town. Hopefully they are not connected because armed and dangerous does not sound good.

Remember THAT strange coincidence? There have been a couple of updates...[note: also seems one guy's name has changed...typo?? that's my guess otherwise there were 4 people involved]

http://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com/page/content.detail/id/530031.html

snipped...Police said Roberts initially told them she was in an auto accident but later said that wasn't true.

snipped...Whatever it was made them act irrationally, and one of the side affects was extreme paranoia, Davison said.

...State police also arrested a man they interviewed early in the investigation...

http://adirondackdailyenterprise.co...issing-arrested-on-drug-charges.html?nav=5008

...on state Route 30 with a large fracture in the driver's side of the windshield, so the vehicle was pulled over, state police told the Enterprise.

...Police said they were acting paranoid and irrational when they were taken into custody, but samples sent to be tested in Albany have not yet been returned with results.

There are still flyers up all around the northern NY area. I keep coming back to thinking that Colin was hit by a car (likely someone under the influence) and that this is a cover-up. If that is the case then I hope that soon enough someone's conscience will get the better of them and someone will come forward. Prayers for Colin's family and friends.

This could well be what occurred....

We had a case a few years ago in Phoenix, and it was actually a local parish priest who was driving, hit a man, drove with the man (on his windshield) as he panicked. Finally athe man fell off, and the pastor kept going.

The damage to the vehicle's windshield as well as elsewhere, is what caught him, as there was blood from the dead man.

People will panic and do strange things when they do. But he'd have to have taken the body then, of Colin IF that was the case, because no body was ever found.

So, may not be after all an accident.

I feel the community in this part of the Adirondack is so tight knit, that I think if someone had damage to their car that could match hitting a person that someone fixing it would have known of the case and spoken up. I also would hope that LE would have made body shops aware to be on the lookout for this sort of damage.

Colin Gillis investigation remains active, unsolved
October 25, 2012

snipped...“It’s a very active case,” State Police Troop B Bureau of Criminal Investigation Capt. John Tibbitts said in a recent interview.

There are a dearth of leads, however.

Various scenarios of when might have happened to Colin have circulated as rumor, and if stories have been put out there, he said, “we have heard them, and we’re looking into them.”

Thinking of you Colin, out there somewhere under the full moon - with this storm hitting and all.

Very sad that Colin has still not been found. Have any of the friends at the party commented publicly on what went on there? As the parent of a college student, this is just so disturbing and scary. Parents, hug your kids.

I am just now reading about Colin. I can't believe how he just vanished. It makes me think he encountered someone who gave him a ride and then harmed him. I pray I am wrong. I also pray for his family and friends.

Tri-Lakes story of the year: the search for Colin Gillis

Since mid-March, residents of the Tri-Lakes area have been wondering where an 18-year old Tupper Lake resident vanished to.

Colin Gillis, who had returned home for a break from classes at SUNY Brockport, attended a March 10 party with friends in Piercefield. Gillis left that party around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, March 11, and has not been seen since.
