Peguero was released from prison last year and I firmly believe he knows and is responsible for what happened to Corinna. Consider: He had just gotten out of prison when he was arrested for assaulting her, so who had the most to lose if she showed up to the hearing on those charges? As you know, Corinna was already missing by the time the hearing rolled around so charges against Peguero were dismissed.

Peguero spoke with her through Facebook messenger on the day she disappeared, they made arrangements to meet and he told her she’d have to work for him. I suspect they met, argued/fought about the upcoming hearing, Corinna may have refused to work for him, and he killed her.

But who helped him and/or knows the truth? Who provided transportation for Peguero? Who from his circle aided and abetted? The truth is out there, we just need someone to be brave enough to tell it.

But Corinna has been on my mind lately, and I’ve been looking for updates. I decided to look her up on Facebook after reading that there had been activity back in 2021, and saw this from five days ago. Does anyone know if maybe her mother has access to her account and accidentally commented from it? Or maybe it was hacked? I know it’s the generic “wish a friend a happy birthday” message, but it really made me uneasy, and I wanted to share it in case it was anything.

There's no announcement from her family or media about her being "found," but there's a possibility that if she was roped into a trafficking ring and managed to get out of it, she may be trying to keep a low profile. If there was an announcement about her case, there would be a lot of pressure for her to report where she was and who she was with during her lost time. I hope, for her sake, that she is doing okay now but is staying safe.

I can’t remember if this was discussed, but I have to wonder why the police didn’t set something up for the meet up spot at the women’s hospital when the person was demanding ransom, even if they thought it was a scam… I don’t think I’d be able to live with that “what if” IMO.

Her aunt did a podcast on September 29, 2025. Carissa has NOT been located nor has her family heard from her. Maybe somebody should report the FB comment to LE.

I haven't followed this thread so apologies if this is out there and also I don't mean to be a downer but she's a very pretty blue-eyed blonde, I unfortunately think she would have been raking it in for them and has died or if she is living then she could be a very damaged individual but sadly I don't think she is.


Her life has been so intense you don't usually hear about sex trafficking cases with so much detail like this.

Again, I'm so shocked how someone can just vanish. Murder happens all the time, but vanishing amazes me. I guess disposing of a body has become more perfected. This site is full of mysterious disappearances. I love the theories, but in the end the majority will take the conscience of a guilty party coming forward with details of what really happened in most of these disappearances. Guilty don't want to be punished, and so silence continues. Poor girl made some bad choices which put her in bad situations, bad situations lead to bad results, some deadly. You have to wonder what led her to want this type of life? Attention? Money? Drugs? Boredom? All of the above? Did she have signs of being bipolar? Was she sexually abused? Her posts on social media seem to be a cry for attention, she found it, with the wrong group. I dont have a daughter, but it seems so hard for mom's with daughters these days. My son shows me photos of 15 year old girls at his school on their social media, they look 18 plus in some shots, and my jaw dropped at some of the pix. So sad girls are losing the small window of childhood sooner these days. Hoping she's found and can be brought home to her family one day. The unknown must be the hardest part.
