Bumping up case one more time.
Her maiden name is Messina, she’s my friends cousin, where did you find a record of her death?I wonder if fardella is a married name. There is a marriage record from 1979 on Ancestry for Joseph M Fardella to Deborah A Messina. This seems the best match for her as other possible matches have conflicting records. Debbie Messina is listed as dying June 1988 in Brooklyn as Debbie A Fardella in the US Social Security Index, but this would be equally consistent with a declaration of death from an earlier disappearance. Any information confirming or refuting this identification would be useful.
The record is on Ancestry and is a record from the U.S Social Security Applications and Claims Index 1936-2007. It records a social security number of 121543910, a birth date of 25 August 1959 in Brooklyn and a death date of June 1988. However, as I said in my previous comment, this may relate to a declaration of death for legal purposes rather than proof of a confirmed death. It also shows that at 29 October 1974 (presumably when she got the SSN) she was known as Debbie A Messina. This changed to Debbie A Fardella on 6 January 1981. Presumably this change was when she notified the authorities following her marriage to Joseph Fardella in 1979 (which is confirmed by a record of the marriage licence on Ancestry). I think the birth date on the death record is a year out as Ancestry also has a birth record for her giving the date as 25 August 1960 rather than 1959. I have also found another death record (again for June 1988) on the US Social Security Death Index on Ancestry which has the correct birth date so I suspect the first record was a simple input error. Her maiden name is Messina, she’s my friends cousin, where did you find a record of her death?
Debbie is my mother, I believe my grandmother (her mom) submitted dna somewhere regarding my mom.The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Looks similar to this Jane Doe. If Debra's DNA was entered into CODIS it can be compared.
How do I do that.. I know a lot and can get more information. My dad remembers a lot of names. She was involved with bad people and was struggling with drug use during that timeDebbie is my mother, I believe my grandmother (her mom) submitted dna somewhere regarding my mom.
This is on Google images. I see some similarities. But this is her married name and I don't know if the missing woman was married or no
