GUILTY NY - Driver pulled from SUV, viciously beaten by bikers, Manhattan, 29 Sept 2013

  • #121
My daughter actually caught something that I didn't. One of the passengers on one of the bikes is holding up a tablet to record the "chase" and there are others that have cameras on their helmets as well.

Look at the first photo...how they have surrounded the SUV. This is right at the point the SUV moves forward and hits them. Then look at the second photo at the damage they did to the SUV on the passengers side. It is obvious to me they were scared for their life and no doubt this played into LE saying the driver won't be charged. jmo

Yes but the suv could have just as easily drove up between them, they already said he was in a hurry and wanted thru

Then they should have checked each and every biker as well they were reckless too.

the bikers didnt run over and nearly kill someone, he did!

Are they taking any responsibility for their own actions? What about the one that intentionally pulled in front of the SUV and stopped short? Has he spoken out yet? How about the ones that blocked the exit ramp after the SUV exited the freeway? Have they spoken out as to why they did that? What about all of the illegal bikes that are clearly seen? Have the drivers of those come forward yet to take responsibility for breaking the law?

Yea, I didn't think so.

No, they just stopped short in front of an SUV while surrounding the SUV on all sides. Then they just followed the SUV at high speeds and attempted to make the SUV stop at least once before traffic forced the SUV to stop. Then they just slammed their helmet into the window of the SUV breaking it and scaring the hell out of a family with a small child in the back seat. And then to top it all off they just pulled the man from the SUV, beat the hell out of him, slashed his face with a knife and left him bleeding facedown on the road while they took off.

A two year anniversary celebration with his wife and their young daughter. Sorry, doesn't sound like booze was involved to me.

What I saw in the video, the long one that was over 6 minutes, was a biker pulling in front of the SUV and then slowing down while looking behind him. Bikers on both sides of the SUV, behind the SUV and one directly in front of the SUV. So why did the biker pull in front of the SUV and slow down? Perhaps so the SUV had no choice but to stop? Perhaps so the SUV had no choice but to bump him?

When the bikers pulled the driver out of the SUV they not only beat him in front of his wife and young daughter, they also slashed his face with a knife. Then proceeded to take off so that LE wouldn't arrest them. But yes, let's call the driver of the SUV, who was put into a very difficult situation and brutally attacked, the "🤬🤬🤬🤬" and give the gang of bikers a pass. :banghead:

MOO

Well said!!!! The video doesn't lie!

bikes block exits around here too most people see that they are just out to ride.
Im out of this one as I have been a victim of a car acting like a jerk trying to kill me, and husband has been left in the road, wow I hope your kids dont grow up and ride , then and only then would you understand.

Please explain how these bikers are just out fora ride if they're breaking the law and blocking people from going on their way into traffic.

I raise my child to obey the law and to have respect for other people. I would hope he carries those lessons no matter what mode of transportation he choses.

The only time I have ever seen a blocked exit, was on planned organized rides, and they are blocked by the POLICE! For example, we do a Blue Santa Toy run every year. It is in conjunction with the police. They block the exits for us, for safety reasons.

The exits shouldn't be blocked by a bunch of idiots who don't know how to obey the law. :twocents:

Oh, and I do ride, and I don't understand these people riding around like idiots. :)

Cyclists and motor vehicles both have to watch out for each other and follow the laws and drive responsibly. These riders clearly don't. You share the road, not take it over and act recklessly.

Did you see the photo of the back window of the SUV busted out and the passenger side window? There was a baby in there! Did you watch any of the videos, where the whole pack is running red lights, etc?

They were the danger on the road that day and many other days from what I have witnessed online.

I have lost friends and had friends hurt as well from accidents that were the fault of motor vehicles. I have also known people that have been hurt riding because of their own negligence. It goes both ways.

My dad rides. My ex step dad rode as well. Hubby is even thinking about getting a bike. NONE of them would behave the way this group of bikers did. Why not? Well for one thing it is against the law. It is also reckless and stupid. How often have drivers not looked out for bikers? Happens often unfortunately. So why do the bikers need to be stupid and make things even more dangerous for themselves?

MOO

ETA Can we please have a Mod fix the messed up quotes from the last page and this page? I really would prefer to have everyone know that I did not say what appears to be contributed to me because of the messed up quotes......Thank you!

Has nothing to do with being in a notoriously violent area, they were in the middle of NYC in daylight and didnt look like thugs to me why do you think they are thugs? because of the bikes? type of riders? why did he feel like he had to rush thru? they certianly dont look scary to me was there even a 911 call at the time he ran over him? he seems more at fault , you know those people who run over people on purpose and see them , have time to stop, but dont because "it was my turn" or the" light was for me" that is evil in my book !

I believe they behaved like thugs so I will continue to call them thugs.

The person from Hollywood Stuntz who uploaded (don't know if I'm allowed to say his name) Sunday's unfortunate events in New York City quickly removed all of the other videos from said gathering, but he did leave plenty of clips from the past two years. In this one the drivers film themselves attacking the driver of a Toyota Prius who had the nerve to get in their way as they were running a red light. You can see one of them breaking off his mirror.

All I can say is it's a good thing these geniuses film their illegal driving and attacks.

BIKER GANG ATTACK PRIUS yes, the SAME group - Hollywood Stuntz - YouTube

🤬🤬🤬🤬 moronic idiots with a death wish. I can't believe this crap. Riding on sidewalks, going in and out of cars like that? Makes me sick! :puke: It will be too late when they hit some pedestrian, or they get hit!

I can see why police can't catch a lot of these morons. I don't see license plates on these bikes. :waitasec: I maybe saw 2. What's up with that? They should be pulled over for that alone! :gavel:

I say again, if the SUV driver was scared then he would have locked his doors. That speaks volumes that his door was unlocked before/after he ran over that man. Later a biker was able to open his door. It just was very creepy to see that suv go up so high as he drove over a person and kept going.

I disagree. To me it appears the driver of the SUV has been surrounded and is being herded by a very large group of motorcyclists.

ETA I want to add that this group of riders appear to be acting as a group, Which amped up the intimidation, what do they want, why are they doing this, it seems purposeful - line of thought that may have been occurring to the SUV driver. MOO

I do not feel it is a fair assessment to link the driver's fear to whether or not he locked his doors.

Locked doors do very little good when you have windows that can be and WERE broken. I think my first instinct would be to remove myself, my wife and my child as geographically far from this very large group of individuals I feel threatened by as quickly as possible.

The only one who can say if the driver was afraid is the driver. But I do BELIEVE that he was.

I completely agree that drivers need to be aware and see motorcyclists. I also know bikers who need to be doing that in regard to cars and trucks. The onus swings both ways drivers and riders. But this case does not even have anything to do with that.

This has to do with bullying and intimidation on the road IMO and its wrong. It would be wrong if the SUV driver had been doing it to a bike, and its wrong that these bikers did it to the SUV driver. JMO

They have also talked about have more pictures from onlookers that shows more bikers being involved including ones claiming they didnt get involved.
