Emery Mizell, 17, was knifed in the chest around 2:15 p.m. Thursday on Boynton Avenue near Watson Avenue in the Soundview neighborhood, police said.

Not much to say on this -- the attacker is now in custody charged with manslaughter, murder and unlawful possession of a weapon. Big, big charges against the 15 y/o attacker.
Not much solace for those who knew & loved Emery Mizell, but at least the attacker is indeed in custody with no doubts as to what she did to Emery. Hoping for justice asap.
Why, why, why? Why not just a slap in the face?
Another sad and totally unnecessary loss of a young person.
