Brazen NYC duo stabs mom in front of son, 3, during broad-daylight home invasion

One of the intruders stabbed the woman in the leg — before snatching up cash, a cellphone, a social security card, a wallet and an EBT card from inside the home.

A man and woman stabbed a 23-year-old mother in front of her young so during a broad-daylight home invasion robbery in Staten Island this week, authorities said Thursday.

"Home invasion robbery." Damm. why didn't they wait until no one was home? SMH. Drug-crazed, perhaps? Grrrrr.
At least the mom and child are alive and apparently okay. But the things the pair took will be a pain for mom to fix -- but certainly fixable.
Just glad Mom and child are both okay and with each other.
