An NYPD cop was killed when a car crashed into a nail salon where she was getting her nails done for a wedding in Long Island, officials said Saturday.

What an awful thing to happen.
The only things that can be fixed are the nail salon and possibly the mini-van.
Sadly, the people who were killed can only be represented in a court of law, in funerals, and in remembrances and pictures of their now-deceased relatives and friends.
This awful-ness probably could have been avoided had the driver stayed home or had the driver not consumed alcohol.
IMO and SMH.
