Those pictures are probably the best examples of extreme purpura. I’ve seen plenty of older people with purple skin bruising. Spots. Dots. Streaks. None look like the pictures in the article.

Many older people have heart conditions and are on blood thinners which makes you more prone to bruising and/or hematomas. My husband had a heart attack and had a stent inserted. He has to take ticagrelor and aspirin daily for at least a year to stop clots forming in the stent. This is a stock photo but he had a bruise just like this on the lower arm. The bruise lasted about 2 weeks but the hematoma is still there.

A strange instagram moment, via the Insider, involving NYC's famous Balthazar restaurant owner, Keith McNally, who made comments about GM that alienated many of his customers and some former/current staff :

"Let's not rush to judgment," the caption on McNally's post read. "Ghislaine Maxwell is currently innocent. She must be given a fair trial. Due Process is the core of democracy." ...

"To be accused of adultery and prostitution as Mary Magdalen was in Christ's time, was as serious Then, as the crimes which Ghislaine Maxwell is accused of today," McNally wrote in the caption. "Thankfully, adultery and prostitution - in the western world - are no longer thought by most people as 'crimes.' Hopefully, the crimes that Ghislaine Maxwell is accused of today, will remain just as vile and abhorrent until eternity."

McNally continued: "Although I think Maxwell is guilty, I'd be reluctant to say so publicly, until she's given Due Process and found guilty by a court of law."

Ok, sure, due process is why she's in jail, awaiting trial, but why on earth would this guy sabotage his immensely successful business by spouting off his personal opinion out of the blue? Who is GM to him?

Maybe JE and GM were his regular customers? Maybe he visited pedo island? Maybe he was having a exercising his right to free speech? At the end of the day, he is correct. She is entitled to Due Process. He is reminding everyone that all of us have rights. It’s a great country.

Read that as well. He’s keeping up with Prince Andrew, I guess. Or maybe it’s “he’s served his time, paid his fines so we can all just go down the road and be happy.” What were all of Epstein’s guests thinking when the stewardesses on Lolita served them cocktails? Or brought the guests towels, robes or slippers pool side? Could they not tell that they were underage?

I think you probably know what most of the guests were thinking about friendly attractive young women and it had nothing to do with their age or welfare.

Ummmm Ghislaine Maxwell is not being charged with adultery and prostitution. She's being accused of sex trafficking of minors.

Some days, I reread previous posts just to check on progress. Today, I feel ill as I think about all the sex perverts in the world. 4 year old twin in Dallas. 11 year old in Florida. Was this pedophilia not as widespread years ago as it is now? Or just not reported? Ok, 17 year olds. I get it. But babies? Toddlers? What is WRONG with these people? What possible feelings of excitement would trigger these animals with a baby or toddler? And GM was in on all of it according to the criminal charges.

Yes, it is sickening. We certainly don't want to ignore or make light of all these wicked happenings, but on the other hand we do need to try to not dwell on it all the time, or we could easily lose our sanity. There are no doubt people now in care, from thinking too much about these things. I can only pray that there are enough stronger people who can make a difference.

IMO these perps have zero empathy.
I think we are all born with the capacity to have empathy. So imagine it’s not registering at a very early age, by the time said person is an adult 20, 30, 40 yrs old it’s monstrously out of control.
No boundaries, no empathy, no relating to the victim,no guilt, nothing.

MOO

And I just read that Bill Gates’ father was a lawyer, politician, philanthropist, etc and mother was named Mary Maxwell. Is there any relationship there? That’s too coincidental.
I wonder now if Ghislaine Maxwell has pictures of any of the other Gates family members in addition to Bill. I guess it depends on their ages. But seeing as Epstein knew so many people in politics, philanthropy, royalty, maybe the Gates family is related to GM and/or JE.

Fact check: No, Bill Gates and Ghislaine Maxwell are not cousins

This trial is not going to be easy to hear, for we people with morals. Nevertheless, bring it on.

A new [URL='https://www.rollingstone.com/t/peacock/']Peacock docuseries will investigate the mysterious life of Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite-turned-Jeffrey Epstein associate who currently awaits trial on multiple sex trafficking charges.

Epstein’s Shadow: Ghislaine Maxwell, premiering June 24th on the streaming service, features dozens of exclusive interviews and previously unseen tapes of the Maxwell family in an attempt to piece together the puzzle that is the enigmatic publishing heiress who gave “a veneer of respectability” to Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

As the trailer notes, when Epstein died by suicide in August 2019, Maxwell “inherited” both the financier’s secrets and the brunt of the criminal repercussions: Maxwell now faces eight counts, including conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, enticement of a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and perjury.

Ghislaine Maxwell will remain in a New York jail after a federal appeals court on Wednesday rejected the British socialite’s latest request for bail.

The second US circuit court of appeals in Manhattan also denied Maxwell’s request for a hearing on what her lawyers called “horrific” confinement conditions at the Metropolitan detention center in Brooklyn. It did not explain its reasons.
