Note time again!! Dad and son are having some serious sports talk! Bonding kissing. Scooters back legs are hysterical!

He has not moved a muscle in minutes- he almost looks like a fake giraffe stuck in the pen!!

CARIIS, have you seen the behind the scenes video? It's very short but shows the little guy sitting in the corner under the camera. This is the spot he feels most comfy I guess. I thought he would be next to mum all the time, but that's not the case.

OH all tucked in his corner. Have had dogs my whole lift. What struck me about Scooter and my lady love bug,there is IMO a smartness to this!

You know how a lot ( all my other ones did it!) plop down in the middle of a room! Lady . like scooter . seem to know it is far smarter to when lying down do so in a corner

Indy U2 perfecting Dyanna I have a cure for the loss issues we are going to experience when jerk kills the camera/ I think it is so wrong and a loss . Would be so neat to follow .

But what we all are going to do is do a countdown like 3 2 1 cease our meds and in 12 24 hours we can get delusional, and just pretend the camera is still on and continue !!

Sound like a plan??

I read some information on that and it is just how they do it; a slurp here and a slurp there.

Thanks I did not know that is how they eat. I thought April didn't like him eating too long or it hurt her.

I know and what confuses me is I read they don't really sleep no matter their age.

Scooter is mischievous but what is he doing over there ALL the time- that is what I am dying to know. The only thing I can think of is lying down, which I would love to see!

Anyone know how big that area out of camera range is??

At night it makes sense that his precious eyes hate the lights but he is MIA a lot during the day as well!

Cariis, I think that corner Scooter lays in is just the cleanest corner there is in the pen. So that means Scooter is very smart!

Scooters ossicones horns are so darn cute.
Scooter was the nickname my sons father gave him, I hated it, his name is C O L E.
It's okay for the little guy even though I ended up sending in 4 names.

Are they going by votes per name? I couldn't figure it out with Fibro fog brain. I did it for the donations, so it really doesn't matter.

Good morning!
All is well and baby continues to gain! A small floor scale has been implemented to get a read on baby without separating mom and handling calf.
This is the corner the little guy prefers - inconveniently out of camera view!
Giraffe Cam will go dark Friday at 4:30 pm eastern. We will all be there to say goodbye.
The future plans will be announced next week of when and how you can check on baby.

Yes today Alyssa and some guy not Cory cleaned the whole pen out and put down fresh whatever it is. She put April and Scooter in Oliver's pen while he was outside. As you can see now it doesn't look very clean.

The article says after they give birth, they'll slowly be transported back up the hill until the end of May. But, just think...200 births to follow!

Sooooo when is my month to keep April and toots? And.... like....who is going to nap them? I'm sure we can find some type of tractor trailer with the top removed or something.... I just wanna hug that baby!! Think my horses will accept them?
