Gloria Coppola, who has worked on several missing person cases, said Thursday she has received calls from multiple families wondering if the remains could be those of their lost family member. The list of the missing is long, she said, citing 79 cases in Schenectady, Saratoga and Montgomery counties."

Identified as Gary Rau, 63:

According to officials, the body is that of Gary Rau, 63, who was last seen by associates more than a year ago. According to the autopsy, the man died 8 months ago. They say he had a New York State ID on him with a Schenectady address.
