Yes you can, the drivers can take fares for cash especially at airports in New York. I live in NYC. Glad he was located.

That’s interesting, the airports I use only allow taxicabs to queue up in a designated lane for customers. I see Uber and Lyft but they don’t park and wait for rides. Maybe they’re not allowed to do that at some airports? IDK

I hope Gontran is ok and gets in touch with his family. Maybe he is just staying with a friend for a while after spending several months with his mother in Florida.

Found safe!

A Long Island man who had been reported missing for weeks has been found safe, police said Tuesday.

The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known.

At my airport, there is a “cell phone lot” where people sit and wait for their loved ones to tell them when they’re walking out. Ubers also sits there and waits for a que to pick up.
